Jamestown Park Golf Course

Jamestown Park is ALWAYS my favorite nearby course to play. Conditions are outstanding from tee to green, with lush fairways, smooth, consistent, and fast greens.

Cindy rang up my round walking as a senior for $12, a great value. Cindy also does an excellent job of running the grill. Jamestown has a loyalty points program. Since Cindy couldn't apply my points when I checked in, she took my name and they did this at the turn (after 9 holes). Davis assisted with this transaction as well as ringing up drinks.

Both Cindy and Davis are helpful, friendly, and professional. They are assets to Jamestown Park Golf Course.

Jamestown Park Golf Course offers challenge, beauty, elevation changes, prime playing conditions, friendly staff, and great value. I hit the ball well during my round, playing off lush turf.

Course is in great condition with challenging layout, especially par 4s and 3s. Played on a Saturday in 2 hr 15 min. Played by myself granted, but most of the other groups were smaller and successfully was enabled to play through several groups. Couldn’t have been better.

Greens hard to hold. Fairways are 75% good. Heavy rough. Greens pretty good. They were sanded but still rolled well.

Thoroughly enjoyed our first round at Jamestown. The course is in great shape and the greens roll true. There are several shots that local knowledge would’ve been real helpful on, but we fully intend to return enough times to figure it out. :-)

The grass was to high couldn't get the ball out the rough or find the ball half the time if you didn't hit it in the fairway. As the day went by the hotter it got the faster the green's got also.

Tee boxes, fairways, and even rough were all in great shape. Greens had a tiny bit of sand on top but the speed was still consistent and putts rolled true. Great layout as well. Can’t beat it for the money.

The course was well manicured. The greens had a bit of sand left from where they had last punched the greens but it didn’t affect your putting lines or speed. Greens were hard and fast. Would definitely play again and got a great rate!

I played Jamestown Park for $19 Thursday afternoon on a Golf Now tee time, excellent value.

The course was in great condition, especially after a lot of rain. Tees and fairways were lush, with the exception of "winter kill" on #8. Also, the 8th green was the only one not in perfect shape. Otherwise, greens are smooth and quick.

I played in 3 1/2 hours going out as a single ahead of my scheduled tee time, a great pace of play.

Marcie is an asset to Jamestown Park. She is always friendly, helpful, and professional. Ross is perfect at the Director of Golf.

Extremely fast greens! Prefer these over average greens any day. Land short, as they don't hold and will roll off easily.

Nice Staff and good central location to the Triad. The course had some greens that had some rough spots that had just been re-seeded and top dressed. The greens were very hard so some good approach shots did not stick. It has been dry so we just need more rain. Overall the course is in good shape and the layout is great. White tees are a good challenge for the average golfer and the blue tees will really challenge the average golfer.

Very fun layout with some longish par 4’s and some shorter tricky ones. Fairways still had some early season rough spots but greens were good.

Great course!! Greens a little fast but you will figure that out quickly! Loved the fairways, give it about two more weeks and it will be in prime playing conditions!

Very wet conditions due to rain in area for several weeks. Tees and greens were fine. Excellent snack bar with made to order food.

Six days ahead of Christmas and we have temps almost reaching 70*? This is why I love North Carolina! Apparently I wasn’t the only golfer who had the bright idea to take advantage of the beautiful weather because the course was packed. I can’t blame any of them for being out there, but pace of play was sluggish because of it.

The course is in really good condition and I enjoy the layout. I have played on the new greens twice now and they take a few holes to get used to. The greens are lightning quick. I had several chips that were hit great (or so I thought) but ended up running off the opposite side of the green. You have to bring your A game with your wedges and flat stick on these greens.

Overall, it was a great day and I enjoyed my round. I will be back again and I highly recommend the course.

This course is in great shape and it is really enjoyable to play.

Went off as a single and played in just over 2 hours. Greens had recently been aerated and were sand covered. Nothing on golfnow or posted at the course to warn you. For the hot deal rate, still worth it.

Jamestown Park is always wonderful to play, featuring the BEST greens for a public course in the area. Since they redid the greens to Bermuda a couple summers ago, they are smooth and fast, providing opportunity to sink some putts.

The value on Golf Now at $21 with cart is outstanding. Conditions from tee to green are excellent. Scenery and challenge enhance the golfing experience. My pace of play of play was under 4 hours, joining up with a single golfer due to the foursome in front.

The staff is always friendly. The pro shop is well stocked. The grill is always good.

I would highly recommend Jamestown Park Golf Course to everyone. Well done!

The course was in great condition. The greens are very firm and fast. That takes some getting used to when hitting approach shots into the greens.

My only complaint is that there is no starter monitoring who tees off when and where. As my group was finishing the front 9 there were groups teeing off on the back. That caused a severe log jam the entire back 9.
