NOT WOMAN FRIENDLY
Pretty enough course, but not woman friendly at all! Red tees on 50-30 yards less than Blue tees. Most par 3s i was forced to use driver with 162 and the 156 up hill for par 3s.
Would have appreciated a more fair playing ground. Will most likely not return.
My favorite public golf course to play at within 45 minutes of my house. I highly recommend playing here at some point! Great golf for the money.
Good day
Had a good day playing with the wife. Was a little chilly, but the course was nice, greens rolled good. Give it a try.
Excellent course with one heck of a finish
I’m not sure what happened with the guy a few reviews down, but my customer service experience was excellent. Second time playing and had a blast.
Course Quality: Well done guys. Especially the leaf blowing. Course is a bit crispy but still very good
Greens: Moderately quick and true. Can put off the fringe. Very few blemishes.
Layout: Classic holes + a couple very exciting challenging holes. Par 3’s are tough and ending stretch (16/18) are wild. Lots of bunkers.
Pace/Cart: Both excellent
Overall: A-
Good Round
I was impressed with how the leaves were cleared of the course. Although I only missed one fairway today, it was good to see the course cleared of leaves. The greens were quick in spite of the the cool moist air. The pace of play was great. This is one of my favorite course to play. Looking forward to the next round.
Worst customer service
Course is fine. It’s not what it used to be , but it’s fine. The staff working there for the most part are probably fine too, but one of the gentlemen working this afternoon literally cursed at me and two other golfers today, and then kicked us off the course without offering any refund. Needless to say, I will never be playing here or recommending this course again. Too many good courses for the same pricing to put up with that kind of customer service.
Glen Oaks is a fun course to play
Glen Oaks is a fun course to play, a good mix of holes with a number of elevation changes. The greens are usually very good here, they were a little slow this round but will hold approach shots very well. Unfortunately, they let 5 somes on the course on weekends and this really slows down the pace of play. Will hopefully be better next time we play.
The one and only unforgetable 18th hole
The course was in good shape. Great pace of play. Great layout with plenty of risk reward opportunities especially for long hitters.
Most of the greens are small but will hold.
Great finishing 4 holes that will make you come back for another chance if you did not score the first time.
Very enjoyable
This course has a bit of everything with fast well maintained greens. Starts off with a pretty simple par 4 but gets interesting very quickly. Narrower front 9 and opens up back 9. The greens and dog legs force you to play smart golf with big penalties/rewards. Just as solid/fun as Larkin/Tillery. Layout isn’t quite as memorable as rocky river/eagle/red bridge but greens might be a bit faster/more challenging. Definitely recommend checking out this course
Great course
Really good course. One of the best ones around here. Greens were in great shape.
Glen Oaks
Course in good shape. A fun layout. Greens were a little inconsistent mostly due to the fact the front nine had just been over seeded and the back nine had not. Friendly staff and a great value
