Monroe Country Club

The rounds here are always enjoyable… pace of play is usually fine course is always in great shape.

Found pretty good greens, but fairways are in poor condition. Hope they grow in better. Tabletop greens are hard to hold on the front nine. I like the back nine better. Range is too far. Clubhouse is minimal.

The greens were in good condition, but the fairways were in very bad shape. Very little grass to hit off of except for the many clumps of weeds. The weeds need to be killed and the bermuda need to be fertilized and watered.

Such a great track!! I always have such a great time out here. Course is always in great shape. MCC is my go to course in Charlotte. Pace of place is always nice!

1) Price great!

2) Greens in good shape.

3) Fairways poor - no grass and lots of weeds

4) Tee boxes also in bad condition

5) OK for a cheap casual round.

I always enjoy playing at MCC. However, myself and all my playing partners are getting a little tired of the tee boxes. They need to be leveled, re-sanded, and reseeded. It’s too bad that at such a nice course they have let the conditions of tee boxes and some of the traps go so far downhill. Hopefully, the city begins to invest more in the course maintenance in the future. It deserves it!

Love this course front nine by Ross and the back by Jackson always in excellent shape

Very slow play. Actually skipped two holes to get ahead of group(s) in front of us. Sandy tee boxes? Overall, greens were very nice. Probably only area of the course deamed accceptable.

Two very different nines. Front has small table top greens, back seems more forgiving. Greens are good all around, except 17. No nearby range to warm up. Clubhouse is small and unimpressive. Won't bother to play here often.
