Monroe Country Club

Very well maintained, not too crowded, friendly people, and clean fast greens! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who plays. There’s no other public course in the greater Charlotte area that can compete with Monroe’s prices

Nice layout, a little bunched up on the front, good green speeds, pace of place is fast, nice diversity in the par 3's & 5's with some fun par4's, need to golf your ball, good value, will be back again

Fairways, roughs in good condition. Greens held the approach shot, rolled true, were medium speed. Sand traps were hard packed sand, needed deep raked.

Played there for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it (the fast pace of game and minimal hazards helps the experience!). The greens are better than a lot of country clubs in Charlotte.

The course is very nice. It always amazes me that some grounds personnel cut or blow the course in the directions of the holes when they should be going opposite in direction of the holes played. If they do so you would have more consistent conditions and only meet them once in your round. I had to deal with waiting and / or the noise of the double leaf / grass blower. It is nice to have peace and quiet golfing and we have to expect some interruption but common sense would minimize this by going opposite the flow of golfers.

We teed off in the heat of the day and it was HOT. We thoroughly enjoyed the round and the pace of play was great. The course layout is great and not to difficult. We will be back soon.

Nice greens, fun layout , Donald Ross front 9 . I enjoy it every time I play. The greens can be tight and fast during these hot days of summer but are always in pretty good shape.
