Nags Head Golf Links

I play here 10-12 times a year. Greens are always in good shape. Course is very scenic with lots of wildlife.

Holes are fun and very interesting... except for # 12 which is a goofy blind shot with fairway sloping to a big pond. It's an iron shot of some sort off the tee which is really dumb. Food in the grill is excellent, but don't get the pre-made sandwiches.

Great tough course for its length!! Great scenery!! Definitely a must!!

The course is beautiful especially when you’re on the holes located on the sound side. The greens were in good shape & the staff is very friendly. Will definitely play here again!

My first round of 2023 and I enjoyed the course (though the late round wind made it more challenging than I wanted to experience). The tees, fairways and greens were all very good. Putts rolled fast and true and being so quick allowed the wind to alter some putts on fully exposed greens down the stretch. It must have been a dry winter as the ponds appeared to be down a couple of feet but everything was growing and green. The people that I played with enjoyed the lower water levels as they were able to get balls that would have been out of reach otherwise.

Windy/colder day, but course was in nice shape with fast greens compared to what we are use to. Beautiful views on quite a few holes. Some shorter par 4’s which makes them fun for weekend players. Nice clubhouse & staff with a very nice 19th hole.

My rating of the course reflects playing in February. Otherwise, the course was in great shape. Overall, I found it very tight with homes close to the fairways. I didn't hit any so that was good. Given that, a tight course gives you challenges. It would help if a schematic be included with the score card; my good shots found some trouble on a few holes. I should of used my GPS more efficiently. I played in less than 4 hours so that was great. I thought the layout to be challenging for never playing it before. Otherwise, I would certainly recommend a round or more if you are in the area. Totally enjoyed everything. Thanks for having me. Coming from New England it's always nice to be golfing in February.

They could use a course map with yardage to assist in the playing of the course, especially with the wind blowing hard out of the west (20 mph)

Played along with another single and a twosome in just over 4-1/4 hrs

Will definitely play here again when I am in the area

This is my favorite golf course. The bay views are outstanding. The homes along the course are lovely. Every hole has at least 1 challenge. There are lots of water and lots of rough tall grass areas to avoid. If you can hit the ball straight and far, you should do well. If not, bring lots of golf balls.
