Amazing layout, my buddy and I had an absolute blast , definitely going to make it a course I go to weekly if not every other week

Every year during February, we play several courses at OBX and we always play Nags Head. It’s a beautiful course, and for February it was in great shape. We will be back next year.

The wind along the sound side was probably 20-30 mph so it was quite a challenge on the holes beside the sound. It was also in the 40's when I started to play so it was also rather cold. My first time playing the course and I would love to play it again under better conditions.

I played this course once before about 15 years ago always remember the nice scenery of the sound, and all the nature it goes with it. No to the course every time you step up on the Teebox you look at and wonder what club do I tee off with it was less than six holes where driver was needed. If it was even needed then it’s just a shot makers course and a good one at that. The greens were just smokin, if you hit it online it won’t we hit it it just need to worry about speed you’re very fast. Very nice For me as a local winner is the time to play too many tourists in the summer. Looking forward to plan it again here in the next couple weeks.

With so few golf courses in the OBX, your choices are truly limited, and the management for the Golf Links know it. Although physically beautiful in many places, the golf course is really tight, and totally punative and punishing if you are not a very low handicapper. Balls hit just feet off the fairways are likely lost. In peak vacation season- demand is huge wich pushes pricing to the level of ludicrousness. Ot also means rounds can go 5:30, or 6 hours per. which can be maddening. I'd recommend you play it once- and then determine on your own whether you think it is worth the price.

4 of us played the course, friendly knowledgeable staff and very accommodating. Driving range is ok could be better. The course is a nice mix of types of holes. If you play late in the day the back 9 is a treat playing next to the water and sunset. Can't wait to play there again in a few weeks.

I love playing this course. I've played it a few times in the past. I'd play it a lot more if it wasn't 130 in the summer. We played in November and it was reasonable at 60-70. Only thing is that don't waste your money on range balls. They charged us 7 bucks for a small bag of plastic balls lol. I mean the range is small but put up a net or something and only allow irons. They can afford it with the amount they charge to play during the year. 7 bucks for basically plastic balls is insane.

Very fun and challenging coarse. Greens were well kept fast but predictable. The only problem was there was a backup causing some delays due to golf carts broken down.

I would not hesitate to play this coarse again

Spectacular views, excellent conditions from tee to green. Fantastic layout, very fair & mind blowing challenges, await you @ this links style golf course. A true gem. Enjoy.

Played it last year and it was rough, shaggy and bumpy. Total, 180 improvement. New greens crew is doing great things. Putts are true and quicker.....not blazing. Loved it.

Afternoon tee time for 18. First a delay of 15 min off the 1st tee, then a 2:45 hour 9 holes, stacked up 3 foursomes on the tee at one point. No marshal on course to help things along. Not the first time on this track. Do not recommend during prime hours -- course layout, lack of control, and tourist clientele lead to the Outer Bank's longest rounds.

Didn't tee off until 30 minutes after our tee time. Strike 1!

Had 3 groups on some tee boxes waiting to tee off. Strike 2!

2.5 hour front 9. Had to play front again or would have never finished. Strike 3! If tee time is before1pm you should be able to finish in 4 hours. This has happened multiple times at this course. Nice layout, in good condition. Just very frustrating!
