This course has a nice layout and would be really fun to play if the greens and fairways were in better shape. Divots and weeds all over the greens make putting a game of luck. Much better courses in the Raleigh/durham area for the same price point.

Course overall is in really good condition. Greens are not the best. However, I usually expect that going into it. Great practice facilities with a massive putting green and a wonderful chipping green. Pace of play here is usually very good. There also a lot of beginners playing here which can tend to slow things down sometimes. Just be prepared for that and know that everybody has to start somewhere. It's usually fairly easy to get a tee time here which makes it a great go-to. I always enjoy myself here. Even when I blow up here I usually stay around 100 or less which makes me happy.

This is one of my favorite places However despite the fact that I had paid for a cart, I was told that I had to share with strangers. Covid is still around and I do not feel comfortable sharing with strangers. This is ridiculous and there is no mention of that upfront on their website or booking details. I walked away and cancelled my booking. If you are too busy to give out carts to people who have paid for them then perhaps you are overbooking and that is not fair.

First time playing at RGA and not sure if I’ll go back. The greens, while actually green, were littered with crabgrass on the front 9. The back 9 greens were better, with much less crabgrass, but the amount of unrepaired ball marks was ridiculous. I know that is the responsibility of players to fix when they occur, but the greens keepers should be repairing these at the end of the day. The fairways were in pretty good condition, and most of the tee boxes were decent except for 15…it was a sandbox. The back nine has some crazy short par 4s from the whites. Definitely made me work on my short game.

Considering the Golf Pass “Hot Deal” plus monthly discount and points used, it was worth the price I paid, but I wouldn’t be coming here if I had to pay full price.

Also, I have never had to wait so long to check in for a tee time. Took at least 15 min, thus not allowing me time to hit the practice green.

I had a great time on this course. We flew threw the front 9. Once we made the turn we got bogged down by slow play, but it was a great experience.
