Quail Ridge Country Club

As always a great course to play, except that greens were p;lugged fairly recently and were dry, sandy. Still fast, undulating and challenging. Pace was good on front 9 with group of 4 in front. OK by me to slow my pace down. Passed them on the 10th hole - pace sped up - round in 3 hours. The course lay out makes this challenging no matter what you expect. Great views and friendly staff.

Fairways and greens had been very recently aerated. Lot's of sand on the greens and very bumpy. No mention of the aeration on Golf Now and the rates were way too high for an almost unplayable course.

Course is usually in very good condition but I wouldn't play it for at least another week, probably two.

I was told that 4 years ago this course was horrible. But under the new management it is so much fun. The greens are quick, and there are some extreme slopes, but overall the course is fair and a blast to play

It had been more than a decade since playing Quail Ridge, and was very pleased with greens, layout, natural areas and native grass (all of which make it much more of a classic Sandhills look), etc. I would recommend the course..no bad holes and very playable while being challenging as well.

Greens were in great shape. Pace of play was excellent.

Tee Boxes, Fairways, Greens, and Sand Traps were in great shape. Check in was easy, and went straight to the 1st tee box. The cost during the week was fair. I would play this course again. It's only a short drive down Hwy 1 from the Triangle, that I would say is worth the travel. Golfers are always looking for hidden gems. I would say this course is one. After the round you can go into Sanford and get a great pizza , beer & Tasty desert @ La Dolce Vita Pizzeria.

What a steal! The greens were in tremendous condition! Coming back very soon!

Played this for the first time and the course was spectacular. Wide fairways, greens well kept, fast greens. We’ll worth the money and finished the front nine in under 11/2.

Enjoyed the course. Fairways tee boxes and sand traps were in great shape. The greens were slow but rolled true. The staff in the proshop and snack bar were very friendly and the food was good and very reasonable.

Great track, greens were in really good condition as were the fairways. Will come back when next in the Sanford area.
