Quail Ridge is sweet!
I’ve heard some folks refer to Quail Ridge as a hidden gem. I’d say that’s a very accurate description. The course is in spectacular condition! I never did figure out the greens but they’re in good shape. Staff were excellent. I know this course was in trouble a few years ago and the new owners have done a great job of bringing it back to life.
The two areas I hope to see improvement are 1) range balls are really old, and 2) the has carts really take away from the experience. I would hope to see new electric carts in the near future!
Excellent Course
Super course. Great layout. Staff very friendly and efficient. I great shape. Only issues is pace of play. It was awful on this day. Still, if you pick the right time to play, wonderful track.
Play It Again
This is a definite play again course. No complaints. Beautiful course.
Good Golf Course.
Overall this is a good golf course! The conditions were good fairways and teeboxes were lush and green not dried out and bare like alot of courses in the Fayetteville area. The greens are quick and undulated and force you to put the ball close or you will have a very tricky putt! I would play here more often if it were closer to me. If I had to nit pick one thing it would be the gas carts and no moniters/tablets for hole overviews and yardages.. I persoanlly think if you are going to spend $80 a round you should have these things. But that doesnt take away from the fact this is a great golf course!
Awesome Track
This course is a must play if you’re in the area, everything was perfect from the staff to the course conditions, you can’t go wrong playing Quail Ridge.
Annual outing
The course conditions were great. Fairways were nice and green, and the greens were very nice. This course was one of the better ones in the area, and we would definitely play there again.
This didn't have to happen.
Upon arriving at Quail Ridge we noticed a bus and approximately 60 junior golfers either teeing off or already on the course. All were walking and carrying their golf bags. While I applaud the support given to the next-generation of golfers and equally applaud the benefits of walking while playing, it did result in a 5 1/2 hour round, or would have if we had the time to finish.
Our tee time was 8 minutes after the last of the 15 foursomes had teed off. That tee time should never have been offered by Quail Ridge and GolfNow should have been advised by Quail Ridge to that effect. I believe that this incident casts both the course and GN in a negative light and completely destroyed a pleasurable round of golf which was, by no means, cheap.
Great for the money
Course is in great shape, staff is friendly. I highly recommend. The only thing I recommend for improvement are the cart trails and maybe some signs so you know which direction to go.
Revisit to a great course
Was a member 20+ years ago. Course is in great shape and greens are in great shape.
Liked this course
The course was in great shape other than some thin grass and bare spots off the fairway. Fairways, greens, and tee boxes (the parts you're supposed to play on) were all in terrific shape. Got a Hot Deal to play on a Friday and it was well worth the $40. Course was pretty straight-forward without much water. Bunkers were in good shape. Nothing that I'd call a signature hole, but a very nice course and fun to play. I'll be back.
