Nice greens and fairways
Course has dramatically improved its greens. Some cart paths are rough but overalll driveable. Many years ago this course was very nice. It went downhill for awhile and had no sand in the traps. Today all is fine with greens, fairways and sand traps.
Slow weekend play
Fairways and roughs were in good condition. Greens held the approach shot well, rolled true and were very slow. Sand traps appeared to be deep raked. We followed a tournament group and waited on every shot.
Well kept course
Fairways and roughs were in good condition. Greens held the approach shot well, rolled true, and were medium speed. Challenging course if played from the correct tees.
Golf with a friend
Tees, fairways okay but the greens are why people play here. I will be back even though I am one hour away.
Nice greens and fairways
Course was in very good shape. Only complaint is rough has bermuda and there are some problems in locatiing ball. But, it is the players fault for being in the rough.
Right in front of you
The course is straight forward. Generous greens with subtle breaks. Challenging but not overwhelming. I shall play again!
Great course
Fairways overall in excellent shape. If your ball lands in the fairway no need to roll it around. Minor areas off fairways under repair but all are marked. Greens very firm but still receptive to a good iron shot in. Rolled very nice and true. Tee boxes all in good condition. Really enjoyed making it back here to play. Played on a Saturday afternoon and pace of play not bad for a Saturday.
Enjoyable round
Course was in good condition. Fairways and roughs were well maintained. Greens rolled true, held the ball well, were moderately fast. Sand traps are more like waste bunkers.
Greens
Definitely the very best greens in WNC.... fast,true and receptive...doesn’t get much better!!

Fairways in good condition. Greens rolled true, held the approach shot, and were moderately fast. Pace of play was very slow, perhaps due to the number of fivesomes allowed on the course! Challenging layout.
Too slow
Course is playing 5 and 6 players at a time and they are teeing off from every tee each player was hitting two balls for every hit I waited 30 minutes to tee off on one hole no Marshall was on course
Hidden Gem 45 Mins from Charlotte
Such a good value. Normally on Hot Deals for less than $30 on weekends and $12-$16 on weekdays. Friendly staff. Decent range and nice putting green. Great layout and very challenging on the par 4s on the back 9.
