River Bend YMCA Golf Course

New greens are somewhat hard and will not hold a ball.

First time I have been able to play here since the new greens have been installed. They really did a great job with these and not pushing them to quickly to make them to short yet. Next spring or summer they can reall ymake this course much more difficult by just cutting them shorter. Course layout I have always liked and can be challanging for the average golfers but still forgiving. Will play here many more times.

Recently put in new greens and they are great. Received a great deal on Golf now and was very pleased with the condition of the course. This was the first time in several years playing here and it was a pleasant experience to play something away from the normal rotation of courses.

My friends and I visited this course on Sunday morning and we were first on the box. I would have to say out of all of the courses I have personally played in NC/SC(all public) this is the nicest course I have played. The only complaint(although it didn't bother me) would be that the bunkers on a few holes were being worked on. The greens were in pristine condition and the course was well kept.

New sod has been laid around most if not all of the green fringes. All of the greens are in good condition.

Great course with emphasis on strategy over length. Very good greens compared to other courses in the area. Very family friendly. YMCA course and home for local First Tee. Good rates and facilities.

This course offers several challenging holes and a nice layout. My golf partner and I were fortunate to play with two other golf now compatible players. The course was in good shape with the exception of several rough/bumpy greens. I understand this course is going to upgrade their greens soon. It was a good value for the money on a Sunday.

I pulled in on a very cool and windy day in January. Being the first and maybe the only one to play that day. The course was in fair winter condition, but it definitely could use some work.

Tee times were backed up over an hour due to frost. Very disorganized in getting groups off. Groups with tee times after ours were told to tee off before us. Greens were diseased. Then to top it off, it was going to be dark soon after we finished 9, so a lady in the clubhouse told us we could get a rain check for 9. Then when we go in to get the rain check a different guy told us we could not get a rain check because we booked online. I've played here several times but this was the first time I've played here since the YMCA took it over. It has gone down hill. Go play Deer Brook for the same price. It's a much better club.

This is a great course and certainly the best value by far. Usually in great shape and very friendly for the average player.

I've played Riverbend a few times over the years. It's usually in good shape. At this time, the greens seem to have or had a disease. They're a bit splotchy. Our threesome decided that we can get relief if our ball had to be putted through the bad spots. Otherwise they were fine.

Will bring my co-workers to this course. I live in Rock Hill,SC and it was well worth the drive

This course will make you hit a bunch of different shots. This place is a great value for the money. Greens have some areas on them but most in the whole charlotte area are having that same problem. They appear to be coming back though.

The course has really gone downhill over the years. The greens are all horrible, fairways are like rough, just overall not worth your time and money. There are several othe courses in the area that offer much better conditions at a similar price.

This is a great, player friendly course. I have played this course 100 times, and always love to go back. The staff is very friendly. They sometimes have great deals on stuff in the pro shop
