Talamore Golf Resort

Talamore is always in good shape and this time was no exception. The greens are fast, smooth and putt true. They're also very large with a lot of undulations so it seems like there is never a flat, straight putt. The pot bunkers are a cool feature though I don't recommend finding them! One of the best courses for your money in the Pinehurst area and comparable in quality to the more famous courses. Highly recommended!

The greens and bunkers at Talamore were excellent-especially for late November. Grade A. Really enjoyed beautiful fall day. Met up with nice fellows from Charlotte on a junket. We were held up enough not to make what carts had as about a 4.5 hour pace--but less than 5 total. If anything, amenities (food, range) are probably subpar.

In Pinehurst, you expect really quick greens, false fronts and tough scoring. This course had good greens (not much break), minimal false fronts and easy scoring. If you stay below the hole, you can two putt or better. Had cart path only which is tough when you have never seen the layout so a lot of approaches were short.

Very nice course but rained for quite a while and everything was soaked but definitely not the courses fault

I loved playing this course. It is hard but not unreasonable. Staff was very friendly.

We were pleased with the course and we finished in 3.75 hours.

Starters were on top of their game and got me thru my round super fast when 2 others I was grouped with no-showed. Definitely will be back to play again someday.

Talamore is great! Excellent conditions with top tier greens.

My home course was flooded by Tropical Storm Debbie. Talamore was fortunate enough to miss out on the worst of the heavy rain, so I decided to take a short road trip. I’m glad I did! I loved everything about this course, especially the condition of the greens. Fairways and tee boxes too! Hats off to the grounds crew. Great job!

I also enjoyed the person walking in front of the clubhouse playing bagpipes. I’ve never seen that before.

The course is worth the price; it was in such good condition. I love that the holes are away from cart paths because they keep the area around the greens in such nice conditions. I really love this course.
