About
The 500 Club (formerly known as Fox Den Country Club and Larkin Golf Club) is a premier entertainment destination for the Lake Norman region. This relaxed club with NASCAR roots provides a laid-back experience, quick pace of play, and plenty of entertainment to make it a destination. World-ranked Head Golf Professional and Assistant Professional offer private and group lessons and clinics. While the course is on the shorter side, the elevation changes and native grass areas make it challenging and strategic. Pace of play is the focus in every round so pick your tees by average driving distance, use the drop zones if needed, and play "Ready Golf" to keep your round moving. Starters, Rangers, and the Pro Shop staff will keep you well informed on any tips that might be useful for the day.

Great value, friendly personable staff, perfect day for golf
Always a great value and the course was in really good shape. Also helped that the weather was absolutely perfect. Great day on the course today.

We never got to play due to the cancelation policy. Tried to move or get a credit through GolfNow but the GolfNow group wasn't having it. Really disappointed with the GolfNow experience. At least let me get a credit for playing the same course.
restrooms for the ladies on the course were closed, however the mens were open and nasty. sand traps are in need of repair. I think the staff pockets the money for play
Unfriendly
So I have played this course many times and I always have the same complaint, the guy at the desk in the pro shop just sucks at customer service!! If he didn’t want to be in customer service then he should have taken the job. I’ve complained on him multiple times, but nothing ever changes.
Always a good time
As crampt as the environment feels with all the houses, the layout proves again and again to be one of the most fun/best in the area. A little bit of everything with several water crossings. Must play smart and somewhat safe. Greens roll true and are in great shape

Sadly it's slowly being ruined by the constant development in the area. Greens are still great! Rolling true
