About
The 500 Club (formerly known as Fox Den Country Club and Larkin Golf Club) is a premier entertainment destination for the Lake Norman region. This relaxed club with NASCAR roots provides a laid-back experience, quick pace of play, and plenty of entertainment to make it a destination. World-ranked Head Golf Professional and Assistant Professional offer private and group lessons and clinics. While the course is on the shorter side, the elevation changes and native grass areas make it challenging and strategic. Pace of play is the focus in every round so pick your tees by average driving distance, use the drop zones if needed, and play "Ready Golf" to keep your round moving. Starters, Rangers, and the Pro Shop staff will keep you well informed on any tips that might be useful for the day.

Course is in great shape. Greens are true. Looking forward to going back.
Good Experience
Played after major storms so back 9 closed but we played front twice no sweat! Look forward to playing again soon and having a group play there from out of town...
Larkin
Great course close to the house, the guys I got paired with were fun to play with. Lots of good views
Saturday Golf
Play at your own risk is my take away for today. I knew that the course would be packed and a round under four hours was a stretch. With the course sending twosomes mixed in between foursomes made for a long day.
Best Course in the Area
We played this course for the first time this past Sunday, with rain off and on throughout the day. We were pleasantly surprised by how well the course drained and what great shape the greens were in.
Staff went above and beyond with their service. Cart was brought out to the truck before we even got out, loaded our bags, and picked up after our round.
Great value, great experience, great course. We will definitely be back for more!
Always consistent
I’ve been playing Larkin for 2.5 years now and it’s always been in great shape year round. Love the bent greens and they do a fantastic job maintaining them in the summer time. Staff is always friendly. This course has a great layout and is challenging but fair. It’s definitely a hidden gem!
Really nice course
Now that the construction is almost finished this course is nice. The greens were in really good shape and rolled true . This course has some thick rough but you’re not supposed to be over there anyway. I will be back sooner rather than later
GOOD TRACT
Played well - tuff year for bentgrass. Course is recovering well.
