About
The 500 Club (formerly known as Fox Den Country Club and Larkin Golf Club) is a premier entertainment destination for the Lake Norman region. This relaxed club with NASCAR roots provides a laid-back experience, quick pace of play, and plenty of entertainment to make it a destination. World-ranked Head Golf Professional and Assistant Professional offer private and group lessons and clinics. While the course is on the shorter side, the elevation changes and native grass areas make it challenging and strategic. Pace of play is the focus in every round so pick your tees by average driving distance, use the drop zones if needed, and play "Ready Golf" to keep your round moving. Starters, Rangers, and the Pro Shop staff will keep you well informed on any tips that might be useful for the day.

First Time i a few Years
The course was in great condition , the greens played fast and were well cared for , some need to fix their divots better, don't know of club house amenities, there was no concession stand where I was used to one, didn't check upstairs, would definitely return
Been in the area since January, and this is my favorite. Tee to green great condition
Fall conditions
Course was in good condition overall. Leaves create some issues if you miss the fairways. Slow seniors in front of us made for a long round. No real driving range at this course. Didn't see a real snack bar.
Great course
As always Scott and the folks at Larkin made the round a great experience. Friendly staff
Larkin
Larkin is a friendly, well maintained and inexpensive course. Some holes are mean spirited but a par on those holes is extremely satisfying. ,
Great place to play!
Great course to challenge the boys! Nice drive out of the city for a round!
Fantastic course - even better staff
Fantastic staff. Really welcoming, accommodating and helpful.
Great course layout and conditions. I highly recommend this course if your in the area.
We were passing through from SC to PA and fortunate to choose Larkin.
With rain earlier in the day the course played a little long. Blue tees perfect for me; red tees were a little long for a relatively inexperienced spouse.
Overall fantastic- THANKS!
nice course
Course was nice but not exceptional. Pro shop employee was not helpful at all considering it was the first time we had played it. Didn't know where to get cart or which way to first tee. Couldn't find another employee until we saw Ranger and asked where the tee was. He was exceptional. Got backed up on the back nine and took much longer to finish than it needed to. Will give it another shot to see if anything changes. Enjoyed the layout and course.
