Winding Creek Golf Club in Thomasville is an 18-hole municipal course that is one of the most affordable rounds in the area. It is a regulation-length layout that measures 6,367 yards from the tips. The design is a true target-golf test that is player friendly enough for beginners but will also challenge more advanced players. The golf course is perched atop one of the highest points in Davidson County. From elevated tees and greens you can enjoy dramatic views as well as some intimidating shots. It's a golf course that will most likely have you using every club in your bag. Though there is plenty of variety, the course isn't too formidable for high handicappers. In addition to the golf course, Winding Creek also has a putting green and driving range that you can use for warming up.

Great value
One of the best courses around for the money. Great combination of easy and difficult holes.
Great Day
Busy day on this course, still finished in 4 hrs. Firm and smooth fairways, greens recently aerated but decent though bumpy. The layout is challenging as always and fun because of it. Had a great time and will come back.
Great course for the price
It was a packed Friday afternoon. So pace of play was a little slow all around. The greens had just been aerated, so it only got 4 stars. There were hardly any ball marks on the greens and fairway divots were well maintained.
Punched Greens
We were not made aware that they had just aerified the greens. Course was okay but that really put a damper on the round.
greens in good shape
wish access to greens could be a little closer for the carts. seems most are a good distance away from where carts allowed. I'm no spring chicken.
Fantastic value
Winding Creek is one of the best values around. The course is not very long, but has real teeth if you’re not accurate off the tee. Course conditions are very good, other than the rash of ball marks on the greens which seem to be more prevalent than ever this year.
The course is pretty hilly, so walkers will get a good workout. Tee boxes are typically pretty close to the previous greens,
This is one of my favorite tracks in the area because of the challenges it provides at a reasonable price.
Super nice course
Have played this course twice in the last week and a half super nice greens are in great conditions and would be even better if everybody would fix there ball marks staff was friendly and weather was perfect will play this course alot in the future
Cool course, slow play, no one knows golf etiquette
People were slow, not letting any singles by (me). No one fixing divots, raking traps. I would probably play again but during the week.
Wonderful course
This is one of my favorite courses to play in the area. The grounds crew really takes care of this course well. Typically easy to get out any afternoon and get a round in under 3 hours as a single. Can’t beat the twilight price either.
Great value in the triad
Very friendly and relaxed staff. Great value for a somewhat challenging golf course. Definitely for the intermediate player that has some shot shaping ability. Rate of play isn't always a consistent issue, although at times there could be better tee time and gangsome management. Overall a great course that leaves you satisfied whether you play 9 or 18.
Great Value
For the price, this is an excellent course for a quick 18. Pace of play seems to be a bit slower on the weekends, so play early.
