This course is a good deal for the golfer wanting to play a wide open layout for a moderate price. Week days the course is not crowded but the weekends can be. This course suits players who normally play public courses and are not willing to spend $50.00 - $75.00 for a Donald Ross type course.

Great Time Were It Not for Sloooow Pace
AC and I played this course. Nice course, But we had 8 of the slowest golfers in the land in front of us. Not a ranger in site. I don't understand this. Why not have a guy in the pro shop drive a cart out there and tell them that they have the entire course backed up and to pick up the pace? Seems something that should have been done. It was AC's first time playing the course. He liked the layout but said he probably wouldn't be back due to the slow pace. So instead of a loyal customer they got the opposite.

Greens are sneaky fast for first time playing the course.
A solid 4 rating. Pace was very slow on the day played, with no ranger in sight.

Course was a pleasant surprise
I hadn't played Wendell in a couple of years because it is a bit of a drive from my house. The course was in great shape and the championship bermuda greens were fast. The grill had excellent food at great prices too. Great job Wendell CC!

Good value
Front 9 of this course looks and feels very public, munipal-ish. Zero bunkers, tons of water. Back 9 opens up into a really enjoyable golf course. Fun layout, big fairways, greens were rock hard and lightning fast. Overall, for $40 on a Saturday morning, it was a nice value.

Not long but challenging
Course is in great shape, tough greens. The back is much tighter than the front need consistency iff the tee. Will be back

Great track
While it first appears to be a bit on the shorter side, don’t be fooled, the greens are undulated and very challenging. This course is by far the best in the area for the price. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorites.

Excellent Value
This course is three minutes from my house, and for under $30 during the week it can’t be beat. A fun, relatively easy course with some surprising challenges. Especially the eighth hole, force carry par 3.
I’m a pretty high handicapper, so the course presents more challenges for me than most, but I still get out and play here as often as I can.
