Great track
While it first appears to be a bit on the shorter side, don’t be fooled, the greens are undulated and very challenging. This course is by far the best in the area for the price. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorites.
Excellent Value
This course is three minutes from my house, and for under $30 during the week it can’t be beat. A fun, relatively easy course with some surprising challenges. Especially the eighth hole, force carry par 3.
I’m a pretty high handicapper, so the course presents more challenges for me than most, but I still get out and play here as often as I can.

Course was in the best shape I've seen in a long time. The fairways were in great shape. The greens were very fast.

Great condition
Greens are fast with a lot of slope. On most holes you need to stay below the hole. If you keep the ball in the fairway you can score. This course is fair and fun to play.

After 60 days away
Wow! What a difference 2 months makes. Fairways had turf, greens were like Pinehurst ( bring your brakes) and overall an outstanding day of golf. Thanks to the maintenance crews and the owner. Can't wait when the new tees boxes mature. Looking like a great fall and winter.

Tricky Greens
The course has improved quite a bit over the past year. Although it’s a rather short course the greens have a lot of slope and undulations. It has become a go to course if you like old country style golf courses. I think I’ll be back sooner than later.

Nice course, poor customer service
The new GM Robbi is great, but Gabe needs a class in customer service. He acted like he was doing me a favor and couldn’t even understand simple questions like when do you start on the weekend as if you guys never changed your starting tee times once throughout the years as the sunrise changes. Not sure if you recently changed the policy but you it used to change. Sorry I was not up to speed on your new policy, but the rude service will keep me away quite awhile.

Wendell CC Continues To Improve
Over the last 20 years I have played WCC probably 100 times. I have noticed significant improvement over the last 18 months. The greens are excellent, the staff is very friendly, the food at the grill is no joke, and what you get for what you pay is above average, for sure. They continue to work on the fairways and they are definitely improving. If you have not played Wendell in a while I highly recommend it.

I have played this course many times in the past 30 years. The course was in good shape; greens were good, fairways were mowed and turf was in healthy condition. No bare dirt seen in the fairways or greens. Overall I would rank this course 3 stars.

Great course for the money
Fairway was rock hard on a few holes, greens were fair, not the most interesting layout. Some of the tee boxes were moved up while they resod. Had a great time, will be playing here again!

Poor condition
Poor fairway condition. Rock hard tee boxes. Greens were terrible ,it was like putting on slate top.. Will not play again. Wasted my money.
