Good value
Nice place to play for the money. Tee boxes on some holes were chewed up and uneven, but the fairways and greens were decent. Cart paths need repairs. The first few holes on the back 9 are tight and the pace of play really bogs down there.

Wendell Has Come a Long Way!!!
Folks, you cant beat this for the price. Greens are terrific, staff is uber friendly, grill is awesome. I highly recommend.

Pace of play.
Hard to believe but I teed off at about 1105 as.a single, made the turn after 1 hour plus. Then hit a wall of senior men Couldn't play thru foursomes ahead but last group didn't keep up with group in front of them but still wouldn't let me pass. After 9 holes at this pace.finally finished. In parking lot hear discussion next week was at any other course if these where visitors then shame on them for for bein disrespectful to the rules of golf.
You would think older golfers would respect the pace of play.
I'm 71 and these guys were terrible even playing from forward tees.
Suck it up.

Aeration
9 holes had been aerated day before.
Other 9 were closed for aeration.
Play would have been play 9 holes twice that had been aerated day before. We declined and asked for a rain check,(not a refund), but we’re denied.
I understand aeration must be done, but players should have the option to either play at a reduced rate, or
play another time (rain check).
Note: normally course is in good shape and staff is friendly.

Nice Tune Up
Very Nice layout Great opportunity to get good scores. Greens were perfect, even with recent aeration. Few tee boxes need a some help but not unbearable. Decent golf carts but path quite bumpy. I’d come back.

Great Course, enjoyed our round.
Great course, enjoyed the layout. The only recommendation is for more accurate score card, a couple of the holes didn’t show all of the hazards that were in play. If you don’t play here all the time it’s easy to drive the ball in trouble without knowing it. Course was in great shape.

Great for a beginners starting out.
Wide Greens, With a small amount of water, not much sand. Always a good pace.

Enjoyable, scenic and great value
The golf course was in good condition. Greens were very good. Many challenging holes with undulating greens. Some of the par threes were very picturesque. Lots of elevation changes throughout the layout, with some challenging lies. Overall the golf course was a pleasure to play and great value!
Unfortunately, we were behind a twosome that was extremely slow and didn't let us through. And while we played in just over four hours, as a twosome ourselves, we could have easily played in three hours as the course wasn't busy,

Solid Round of Golf
In town visiting and booked this round the day before. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Even the grounds crew were great. I played alone so got stuck behind a few foursomes but each offered me to play through. Greens and fairways were in great condition. Tee boxes a bit long but nothing that interfered with my round. Greens are very fast and tricky to read but this made the round fun! I had to rent clubs so the rental set was outdated but didn't expect anything amazing. Would play again if I am back in town!
