Get the Pimento Masters sandwich
On top of the fantastic greens and super challenging layout, do not pass up the Pimento cheese sandwich. It made the day even better. This venue is both welcoming to the Senior player and the twice a month regular. It's varying ups and downs make it a great day of golf. Will return for the golf, food and fantastic golf.
Challenging & Fun Layout
Each hole is its own hole, and there are challenges throughout that are fair. The greens roll smooth and quick, and are receptive. A true joy for golf in the triangle for the price!!

Good course to play a round
Easy to get to, quick service, carts in good shape. 2 bottles of water on the cart was appreciated. Coolers on all carts. Once of play was a bit so, but it was on a 65 and sunny day. Would surely take friends for a round. One advice, add a course layout on the cart window- their is a clear plastic sleeve already set for to.

SOLID 4 Stars - Hidden Gem
5 star experience but only a 4 star course(not a bad thing) If the greens were better this could easily be a 5 star course, with that being said the greens were fine especially for a February round. I found it to be great that the course provides you with 2 bottled waters on the cart. They also have a “driving range/net” that is free. Will be back , maybe today… (;

Great overall course
Easy to play and challenging at the same time. The grounds are very well maintained and you can tell the staff knows how to grow grass not buy sod! The open layout makes everything very forgiving and the greens are healthy and smooth. First time playing this and we are already talking about when our next round will be!

Great hidden course
First round at Wendell country club. Course is in great shape. Greens are fast on approaching shots and medium on putting. Greens are small which made it challenging yet fun. Will definitely head back for future rounds.

Exceptional value
In the Raleigh area for the holidays and what a present this was, I’ll be sure to find it again mid-summer when the Bermuda is thriving. A hidden gem, in my opinion, a good challenge for the players and probably a great spot for beginners. Terrific December conditions and super-friendly staff made for an enjoyable morning. I had the first tee time of the day and played in 3 hours. No logo balls in the golf shop though, had to settle for a poker cop instead, hopefully, they stock some logo balls because I’ll be back.

Great course
I have played here 6 times in last 2 years and every time the course was in great condition, even the greens were always in good condition.

Great course! Pace of play sucked.
A group of 4 bozos in front of us kept taking forever. It caused 2 different groups behind me out of the 5 that were held up to ride through and leave without finishing. Besides that everything was great and I will be back to play again. (It rained a lot yesterday and the course was in good condition all around.)

Excellent
I used to play here for matches in high school and I was never impressed and really didn’t enjoy playing there. That was 8 years ago and to be honest going yesterday was a last resort. But boy I was proven wrong. The course was in excellent shape! The greens rolled very true and the fairways were plush! The pace of play was exactly 4 hours and for a Saturday morning I was quite alright with that! The changes that they have made in the past 8 years since I last came have made me want to go more now!

Challenging Greens and layout, Don’t let length fool you
Great experience. This is an approach shot golf course. Excellent set of par 3’s. Greens were smooth and devilish when you were above the hole.

Tee boxes were good and greens were in very good condition. The staff was friendly and the carts are in very good condition. This is not my favorite course but the Hot Deal price and time worked for the 4 of us.
