Legend Lake Golf Club

A HUGE thanks for having a Hot Deal tee time for us. I was immediately impressed with the staff welcoming us and setting our clubs on the golf cart and the 5 star treatment we received. Not often do we get the chance to play a private course, so to get the member treatment was what really stood out for us. Course wise, everything was fantastic. We made our way around in under 3.25 hours. Got to speak with a few members of the club and they couldn't be any nicer, either. Hopefully we can get out there again one day.

I get that I booked on GolfNow but my foursome and I don’t need to be treated like we were on the 17th hole. On the back 9 we got caught in some members , we left roughly 4 3 or 4 somes pass us around the 14th hole and all of them were extremely courteous and asked how we liked the course and we appreciate their kindness. After we let those 4 groups go past us we stated playing and had no pressure to finish the rest of the course. We get to 17 par 3 , we were on the putting green after about 5 mins on the hole if that, We were putting and the member behind us kept yelling at us to hurry it up. We played a good pace for not knowing the course. We waited nearly 30 mins to let a bunch of 4 somes go past us so we wouldn’t make anyone mad, and yet we are getting rushed on 17 putting green? Just sucks I enjoyed the course, the gentleman working the shop was extremely nice , just those guys at the end soured it for me.

Usually when I play terrible it makes me dislike a course and I'm reluctant to go back. I really hope to see this one again, listed as a private course so i assume my only opportunity will be if a tee time is available on here and I will definitely be checking it regularly.

They pulled up to my car with a cart as soon as I popped my trunk to get the clubs out and were there waiting with a bottle of sanitizer before I got my stuff out after playing. Inside staff was on top of everything as well.

Course was in great condition and other than 2 holes there was no waiting. 18 holes in 2:20 and would've been faster if I knew how to hit a ball in the fairway

Course was a pleasure to play. 91 degrees made it a little tougher, but it was very doable. Lots of water and catching shade was a large part of strategy.

I recently won 4 passes to play this course and was quite excited due to it being a private course and the first time to play it. In short, this course is in rough shape and a total disappointment. Afterwards I questioned why would any golfer want to pay decent money to be a member here. Little Mountain, Quail Hollow are way better options than Legends. But thanks for the opportunity. Hopefully CLE Golf will restore this course.

I would not return to this course. People were not very friendly. In addition this course is either the most arrogant or the cheapest. This course has no hole markers.

Have played this course many times, I assume the weather out in this area has been horrendous. Course is in not nearly as good condition as I’ve seen it for many years gone by. Not sure what happened but I hope they solve the problems!

The fairways are all brown and must have a disease. The greens were in good condition but very inconsistent from green to green. Hard to believe this is a private course as the course conditions do not merit it!

Greens and fairways were in very good condition. The rough on the back 9 needed cut. Course has some very challenging holes. Saw at least on 5-some on the course.

The layout is very nice with all different types of holes. You will use every club in your bag. The greens were recently aerated, which is to be expected this time of year, but were still quick. Would love to play again when the greens are at their best. The staff was incredibly friendly.

Course conditions were very good and staff friendly. Last year the course needed alot of work (fairways and greens). It appears they have worked hard on getting it back into shape.

Was booked to play on the 4th of Sept but Golfnow informed me the course cancelled the booking. No reason given.

I spent more than usual to take advantage of a hot deal at a private course. The first two holes were underwhelming but then I got to third fairway and that's when the quality improved. Many of the fairways were like a lush green carpet. Some of my divots were huge but when I replaced them they fit like a glove. I never did get used to how fast and smooth the greens were so I ended up shooting my highest score this year. However, it wasn't the course's fault, it was all my three-putts. All in all, a very enjoyable round.

Private course that let the public in to check it out. Very friendly people. Nice course. Decent challenge.

Had a great time and staff was very pleasant and helpful. Will definitely be back!

This course is always in great condition and you can get around in 3 1/2 hours almost at all times. Great value on memberships here.
