This Robert Trent Jones Sr. design is one of the area’s most venerable venues. The fluid beauty of MetroWest provides for a challenging but playable experience. Wide rolling fairways give all levels of players the opportunity to find the short grass, and the four sets of tees working from 7,051 yards down to the 5,325-yard forward tees make hitting greens in regulation a reasonable endeavor. No push over, though, bunkers seem to anchor every corner on every dogleg and elevation changes of up to 100 feet in some circumstances tug back in the course’s favor.

Improving conditions
Course is in fairly good shape. Layout is good. Greens also returning to great level
Only issue I have is price. This is not a $70 course
More like a $40-45 course. No water on the course. In this heat u need water. Guy in pro shop needs to like his and people more!

Much improved course.
This course is getting better every year. Greens are very good, fairways good as well and tee boxes very good condition.
Course is open and wide, plays pretty easy and the layout is very nice.

Great Course In a Declining Area
We had a threesome on Memorial Day and had a fun and pleasant time. It was hot, about 95 degrees with no clouds to block the sun, but the course is in good shape and the pace of play was good. The course has wide fairways for the most part and it plays long. The greens are fast but true and, altogether, it was a most pleasant time. The course is showing its age, though, as there are trees that need to be trimmed and fairway weeds and crabgrass that need to eliminated. The on course restrooms are a bit tacky and the clubhouse could use some paint and repair in places. There was a cart girl for refreshments but there really should be some water jugs available on course as the Florida early summer heat was intense.
The west Orlando area has declined somewhat and there are really no off course amenities like restaurants or even fast food places so the clubhouse restaurant is the only lunchtime place to go. There were special items for the holiday so it wasn't terribly expensive and the food was good, a small menu but quite good.
All things considered , it was a great time and this course provides an excellent test and value for your money. (I'd give it 4.5 stars but I can't do halves.)

Fun course
Wide open course with consistently good conditions. Not particularly challenging. Peak prices are unreasonable but great for a midweek or twilight round.

I thought the rate was a bit much for this 2 star course… it started at check in at pro shop when customer service was more interested in cell phone…then no direction or welcome…no rangers and just not a great feeling overall on this course as very slow play by others with no monitoring by staff

Sad.
Once a supposedly great track…. First played it in 2013 never seen it look great. Its better than in 2016 but still bad. Course was built to be nice sad to see the financial aspect fall through. Developers didn't think thru what putting cheap apartments on a course would do in the long run. You are not real safe from others when you get out away from the club house. Staff seemed a little shady. No rangers, security, order seen there in the afternoon…. Can someone like Westgate please buy it from the cheap guys who own it now? Place has a ton of potential just need the right minds.

Ranger Needed!
Course was in so so shape. It seems to go up and down in conditions from month to month. Fairways needed cutting and there were a lot of weeds. The greens were in good shape.
Pace of play could have been better and they really need to have a ranger out there that carries a bigger stick to help move things along.

Be prepared for a long day
All I can say is that was the longest it took me to play a round of golf in almost 2 years, Every par three there were two groups waiting to tee off, Just looking around the course almost every hole had two groups on the tee box group on the Fairway and a group on the green. It was way overbooked. Well over 5 hours to play.

Wide open
The course was in pretty good coshit overall. There were some holes with minor construction going on but we're playable. A little bit of elevation change greens were in pretty good condition.The erration on them is almost completely finished to the ball rolls pretty well. I like the track layout. It is fun to hit there because there's not a lot of hazards trees.Little bit of water but you can pretty much just rip it. I enjoyed this course.I found a discount on the price so it was very much worth it.I would recommend playing
