MetroWest Golf Club
About
This Robert Trent Jones Sr. design is one of the area’s most venerable venues. The fluid beauty of MetroWest provides for a challenging but playable experience. Wide rolling fairways give all levels of players the opportunity to find the short grass, and the four sets of tees working from 7,051 yards down to the 5,325-yard forward tees make hitting greens in regulation a reasonable endeavor. No push over, though, bunkers seem to anchor every corner on every dogleg and elevation changes of up to 100 feet in some circumstances tug back in the course’s favor.

Disappointed
No signage.. Tee boxes poor condition. Restaurants closed. Only food available were hot dogs.
Revisited on recent Orlando trip! Happy!
Staff is absolutely exceptional. Even with the bunkers under repair, we had a great time playing. After only nine holes, my father had a medical incident happen while we were on the course and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier, more polite, or more responsive. Looking forward to returning.
Lots of work being done, but nice course.
Overall, I'd rate MetroWest comparable to an average to above-average municipal course. Lots of work going on right now with all the bunkers (ground under repair), along with a little other course work.
The greens were amazing, true, and pretty quick. Layout is forgiving with opportunities to score. Unfortunately, the driving range was closed so we could only chip and putt.
Great to see the investment being made into improving the current conditions. With a little time following the renovations, it should be a very nice public course.

It was a very nice course! It was not a long course from the white tees. Only problem was the tee boxes were not marked and the fairway markers were hard to find.
Best layout but conditions are poor
Selected this course based on its location and the price seemed reasonable, I was concerned about conditions after reading reviews but played anyway.
The greens are in great shape some of the best I’ve seen in the past month of playing at times twice per week. The fairways are over seeded with rye and 75% are in good not great shape. Rough is sparse and very little grass. Tee boxes were decent. They are replacing and redefining the all the bunkers, the ones that are complete look really good. Overall I can see that the corse is improving and with the layout should be a great track.
Staff was friendly and helpful had great conversations with starter and ranger.
The facilities need work, the restrooms on the course need a little TLC, I would also suggest ball washers and water stations on the course.
I look forward to playing again this year and then when I return next snowbird season in 2024!
Will be putting this course in rotation
This course has really come back. They are putting a bunch of money into it. The greens are amazing, then fairways are looking good. My only complaint would be the practice chipping green. If they could get the practice facility up, man, this course would be all around amazng
Diego
What a disappointment. Fairways in rough shape. Virtually every bunker in front nine was under repair. Starter somehow thought it was acceptable to squeeze in a twosome as we took the turn even though we were right behind the prior group. I strongly recommend folks play elsewhere. This is at best a $50 golf course until they get their act together.
Challenging layout with very good greens, but conditions are below average otherwise
This is a solid course with really good greens. The tee boxes and fairways have sparse grass. The design it tough with plenty of yardage for low handicappers from the blue tees. I was pleasantly surprised at the length overall. We played on a Sunday midday and we saw only a handful of other players all day. My guess is the price tag of $109 probably scared many off understandably. As much as I liked the layout and greens, I would likely hesitate to return for the price without some improvement in conditions. I’ve played other places in Orlando for less than $100 that were in much better shape. Also, be aware that the bunkers are in reconstruction mode, so it was mandatory to drop the ball outside all of them. The good news is those that those bunkers that are nearing completion look like they will be a positive addition.
Course layout is excellent but all bunkers are under repair.
Long and spacious course. Greens are in excellent condition. All bunkers are currently under repair.
Over all, it is a challenging course but fun to play.
The course is in much better shape this year. I like the layout. We played with two retired Coast Guard men and had a ball with them.
Kissimmee golf
All good except I was charged twice on my card for 1 round. Having issues getting a credit.
Greens were very good. All bunkers on course are being rebuilt. Nice to see they are putting effort into
restoring the course. Friendly staff including the ranger! Once the bunker renovations are complete I think this will be a good place to play when in town. Can't beat the location.
