Santa Anita Golf Course

Took me 3 hours to play 9 holes. Never again. 7 minute tee times is a joke

Feels great, what's more importantly, it is very close to home, work, Not needing to spend time on the road.

Pace of play was ridiculously slow. Started a half hour late and round was 5 1/2 hours.

The pace of play is very slow. I played there often and it never got any better. They can easily fix it by shortening the long par threes because that's where the backups were (3 groups waiting). That alone can save an hour!

With Tee times 7 minutes apart the first tee gets jammed pack with as many as 4 groups waiting to tee off. They allow 5 homes which id fine but shouldn't have 4 of them walking with one cart. Waited on every hole and a over 5 hour round on a Monday is ridicules.

Came here on a Saturday, noon tee time. Checked in 30 minutes before my tee time to only to hear that it was delayed 15 minutes but in reality it was delayed 30 minutes. Random singles and people off the waiting list were called to tee off when clearly the people that has reserved tee times were waiting. This lead to 5 groups stuck on all the par3s. Played til sunset at 7 only to finished 16 holes in 6 hours. No marshalls, no ambassador, no starters. Please control your tee times and walk ins santa anita, it was much better than this.

I requested rain check but the starter refused that

Tee time was for 12:40, teed off at 1:30. Completed 12 holes in 4.5 hrs. Such a shame because the course itself is in good shape. But man this is poorly managed.

Fairways, greens and course in great condition.

Booked a 6:39AM tee time. No complaints, round done in 4 hirs and 20 minutes. Just the perfect tee time and day for golf.
