Charles T. Myers Public Golf Course

Greens in good shape, the course was in excellent shape considering the heavy rain it had gotten the evening before.

This was my first time playing here and I was not disappointed at all. The course conditions were great considering price and it being a municipal track. Layout was great. Glad to see a decent length public course from the tips compared to some others around Charlotte.

Fairways and roughs were in good condition. Sand traps were hard packed sand. Greens putted true, were medium speed, most did not hold the approach shot.

It had been probably 6 yrs since I had played here because I had moved across town and similar offerings were closer and/or cheaper. I forgot how good of a track it was. Course was in good shape and has some fun holes to it. Elevation changes that offer different looks and forgiving fairways. All the par 3s seemed to be the same club for me, but at least the distance didnt require me to pull out a wood to reach them. Snack bar was lacking as the had very little to choose from and at the turn the girl said she wasnt open. Seemed strange for Saturday at 2:30pm?!?! All in all it is a fun course that is forgiving and challenging at the same time. Might have to add it back in the rotation, even with the 45 min drive

It’s a good public course, they have been doing a lot of work to it, the pace of play is good, and the staff is very friendly.

Course was in great condition very friendly staff the Marshall was one of the nicest people I have ever met

We came from Augusta it was worth the 3 hr drive

Will play here again for sure as the course is ideal for beginners and intermediate players.

Greens are immaculate and the fairways are in great shape. Last time I played was 6 years ago, moved to Columbia SC, and the course is much improved. Keep it up !!!
