The Neuse Golf Club

The course is in great shape from the tees to the greens. I posted a 79 from the Blue tees which is one of my best scores for the season.

Played Saturday morning. Decent pace of play. Course was in great conditions. Greens were excellent. Would definitely recommend.

I like The Neuse better than any other golf course I've played within 60 miles. The course has great character and it's challenging for any level of player. It's not just another flat pine straw course. It demands shot making not just long shots. The greens are receptive, true, and in great shape. I look to playing The Neuse when the grass is growing strong, increasing the challenge.

Always a fun, fair course to play. Greens were a bit slow but rolled well. Need some heat to get the fairways green and growing. Pace of play was brutal for a Fr. Five hours is way too long for 18. Group ahead of us was struggling....had 2 open holes ahead of them....don't think it occurred to them to let us play through.

Awesome course great weather and magnificent greens. Don't know if you could do better for $29.

First time playing this course and I couldn't have been more impressed. Course was in great condition with a very nice & difficult (but not too difficult) layout. Huge greens that are in very good condition, big elevation changes & tournament quality layout. A few gimmick holes but overall I loved this course. With getting the $15 Hot Deal, this was by far the best deal I have gotten all year considering the quality of the course.

I found this course on Golf Now and then researched it for reviews which looked positive so I booked 18 for my wife and I. We paid $25 ea. and at that price it was excellent value. Nice rolling landscape with interesting holes surrounded by nice homes. The course layout should be fair for all skill levels but intermediate to advanced skilled players will certainly enjoy more. The course was in great shape and great fun to play, highly recommend!

Played here two weeks ago and the greens were lightening fast. Played today and didn't get a putt to the hole, much slower. Don't get me wrong they were still in great condition, just confused about how much slower they were. Pace of play was fantastic. Can't wait until the fairways grow in.

Beautiful course. Greenways are kept clear of leaves and debris. It was somewhat challenging but manageable for a relatively beginner/intermediate player like me.

We were having a great time, got partnered with a man and his son and we got along great. then the rangers stopped us to tell us to speed our round up. Trouble was that the foursome in front of us were the ones holding things up. Rude and uncalled for.

Nice course, well kept, friendly staff, great value, much here to really like.....however, midday day on a nice Sunday and you send out a fivesome??? Might not have been that bad except as players your reminded of pace of play in the shop before you head out to the first tee. Would have finished in 4, but ended up taking 5 hours. Whoever let the fivesome go that day made a poor judgement call.

First, the staff sent a fivesome out, on a weekend. The ranger mentioned that the five some was allowed out because of a skins games. Needless to say, pace of play suffered. Course was in fine condition for the time of year, however, greens were inconsistent. I could see this course being nice when the weather finally breaks. It is house lined basically throughout the entire course, which gets a bit boring for me. Worth the hotdeal price, for sure.

We played in just under 4.5 hours and had multiple issues with a group behind us yelling at us to pick up pace when we were waiting to hit because the group in front of us was in range. Started came out to tell us all to move faster, we teed off before 9AM, and moved with plenty of pace. Was just boggled at the issue. Wont play here again for a while. Course was in pretty good shape, no problems there.

I must say that i had a great experience of customer experience i ever had at a golf course before ever. I booked my TT and was unable to make it to play.. I call the course and ask if I could play at a later date. To my surprise Joe said yes, he allow me to play 4 days later. Needless to say he did not have to do this, but he did honor my coupon.. For this act of kindness I give them 10 stars...
