Great course!
I loved this course. First time playing this course and it was a great experience. The course was in excellent shape, greens were rolling at a good speed and very smooth. The layout is great, there are some straight-forward holes and some the require different shots. I would highly recommended this course and I hope to play it again myself!
Interesting layout.
Course was in good shape. Several tee choices. Each hole had a challenge. Fun to play.
First time playing
liked the course. Conditions we fine except to the bunkers. They need some work
Overall good, greens need love
Overall it was a good golf experience. The course layout is solid though plays a bit short. The only criticism that I would have is that the greens were quite patchy in some places even though they've been aerated recently. These are not the fastest greens you will play but they were rolling fairly. Good value for the money. Not having a driving range to warmup also hurts.
The course has a few challenging holes.
Challenging course, ravens and water requires you to hit golf shots with some a few tiight fairways. Only downside is there is now range but there is putting green.
Well played
Great value
Great pace of play for a two some to finish in less than four hours
Some work happening on the course
Greens needed some work due to aeration but overall an excellent experience
Great course for the price.
Course was in good condition considering the time of year and the dormant Bermuda grass. The greens had been plugged three weeks ago and was followed by 10 days of below average temps for NC so greens are just now getting back into somewhat good condition.
Windy & Cold but great to be out
Good day at The Crossings, bright & sunny but a bit chilly with the wind. For this time of year the course is in fine shape especially after the tremendous rain on Wednesday night. A few of the greens have some rough patches but all things considered the course is playing fine.Good to see they are utilizing their own resources to fill the bunkers. Looking forward to playing here more often.
Worth a try.....
This place has some very challenging holes, especially on the back side where there is more water, hole variety, and fewer houses. It is a fun course to play for that reason. Greens are in decent shape - very quick. Do not be above the pin. Pace of play was great. Sand traps are in good shape. Friendly staff. Maybe it is just the time of year, but the creeks and wetland areas looked beat up from high water at some point in the past months. Banks are eroding - be careful when you line up your putt on #11. Lack of a driving range to loosen up is a bummer - makes #1 all that much tougher.
Great lay out score on the front b/c the back is as tough as it gets
Greens could use a little more work but the staff is great and it's a really good change of pace from your standard cookie cutter golf course. Each hole is different .
Awesome day
My 3 buddies and I went out for a round. The weather was perfect, the staff was friendly, pace of play was fine and the golf was great. Will definitely be back in the future.
Nice course great for a beginner !
Great place to get out and get your game on point ! Layout was nice, great pace of play and overall good experience 4 any golfer . I saw my first hole in one live from a guy in my group !
Surprising Tough Course
Very nice course with many ups & downs and twists & turns. Only straight hole was #18. Ask about changes from. Ask about
Changes from course diagram to minimize surprises.
Good pace of play
We played on a Saturday morning and were pleased with how quickly we were able to move through the round - some courses get badly congested at crowded times resulting in interminable waiting between shots. The course was in reasonable shape. Because of the recent hurricane there were still piles of debris around the course and many soggy areas. The greens were not in perfect condition - many were pock marked giving the impression that many of the clients can't be bothered to repair ball marks.
