Good course to brush your game up on
Players during a Duke home ftbl game and had the course pretty much to ourselves. Course is mildly challenging. Good for beginniners!
Nice course, good value
Nice local course that plays quite short. Interesting holes that provide a challenge. Pace was very good. Great carts - new electric.
Soft and soggy
Despite minimal rain locally, the course was overly soggy and soft. The greens were spotty, and looked likely to die if moisture use was not better measured. I like to pay here, but won't be back for a while after yesterday. The course conditions were just disappointing.
Going downhill
I haven't played here in a number of years but I was shocked to see some of the course conditions. Bunkers were overgrown with weeds, huge dead patches on greens, etc. The place was dead on a Friday pm.
Great Course!
Fantastic course, especially for the price! There are a variety of holes to keep things interesting. The greens weren't 100% perfect, but were in fantastic shape overall. Would highly recommend playing this course when you can!
Great course for the area and money
The course and conditions could not have been better. The greens had recently been aerated, but rolled true and fast. If you get a chance to play the course and you haven't, put it on your list.
Great course
Fun and challenging course. Greens were a bit slow due to rain, but overall in great condition. Rolled true. Fairways and rough in great shape. A lot of hazards to take into account, as well as some tight fairways and hilly holes. Overall, love this course and is a great value for the money.
Great Course
I've now played this course twice. You use a lot of clubs in your bag at this course! It was in good condition except for a couple spots on a couple of the greens. The greens were soft and held the ball well so you could really go at the pin! Staff is friendly and the "At The Turn" menu at the restaurant is very good!
Course was below average
Bunkers were in awful condition . Greens rolled ok but we're very weedy. Not much scenery to look at. Most likely won't be going back.
Fun course with some challenging holes
Overall, this was an excellent course and one that I would love to play again. Some of the holes were quite challenging and made me really consider some of my club selections. As one of the previous comments stated, the effects of the heat and lack of rain were evident on the fairways and some of the tee boxes, but the greens were in great shape.
I will absolutely play this course again!
Hit or Miss
I've played this course several times. This was the worst I've seen it; and somewhat to no fault of their own. The weather has dried the course out, so the fairways were difficult to hold. If you had any side spin on your tee shots, the firmness of the fairways accentuated the spin, which led to balls flying into the hazards. The greens were aerated a few weeks ago, so they played slower than normal. The bunkers on some of the holes have grass growing now; which makes me wonder if they are getting rid of them, or if they are just not caring. The bunkers has always been an issue there. When this course is in it's best shape, it is a great course that test almost every club in your bag. Unfortunately, that condition is not what's current.
Fun on the 4th
Had a blast on the 4th of July. Place was deserted so we weren't hindered or rushed in any way. The course looked great and rough was a little thick from the rain but it all played well except the greens which were recently aerated. Definitely will go back.
Some of the Best Greens in the Area
I have always loved the greens on this course. They are among the best in the area.
This course is in great shape.
Played by myself. Breezed through the course in a little over two hours on a Monday afternoon. A challenge from the back tees for this 8 handicapper.
Interesting course layout
The Crossings is a unique design. Not long but challenging. You'll use about every club in the bag.
For the money this is a good course.
I would have given one more star but this course is in need of some help. I have been to this course several times before and I have enjoyed it every time. This first round here this year and when we checked in the guy at the golf shop wanted to charge is more money. I told him I set the round up on golfnow and showed him my printed confirmation. It took five minutes to show him I'm right. Then on the course at home number nine we came across the golf pro giving instruction to someone and they took ten minutes to clear the tee box. While we waited for them to move on a single had caught up to us and he didn't even ask and teed off on the white tees. It's going to be awhile before I go back to this course. I really used to liked this course.
Less than Average
The greens were in amazing shape rolling smooth and fast. Unfortunately that's the only good thing I can say. Tee boxes and fairways were terrible, bunkers had pieces of plastic tarp sticking out all over, cart paths are destroyed. Paid $42 for a "deal" on golf now but it was both worth it. Pace of play was very slow and the only course ranger was hanging out in the clubhouse when we made the turn rather than out keeping up the pace.
18 holes with my grandson
Great day.....course in good shape considering the fairways haven't greened up yet. Greens were excellent.

Tough greens
The course was not very long although I did play from the white tees. The blues and black tees will make the course harder. What made the course tough was the greens. They rolled fine even after being punch probably 2 weeks ago, but they were very uneven. Many times my approach backed up off the green and I had a putt barely miss the hole and roll all the way off the green. The course was fun to play though.
You apparently did not play the same course I am used to playing.
There are no huge dead spots in any of the greens. As for the bunkers, some are being filled in and eliminated and it does take some time for the grass to completely cover those areas. Other than the work being done on the bunkers this course is in the best condition of any public course in the Triangle. Tees, fairways and greens are excellent.
