Carolina Club, The

The course was in fantastic shape for the value. Very impressed with the greens. Layout is very mundane and easy, but perfect for a relaxing vacation golf experience. Best course conditions for the money I've played at OBX.

This is probably one of the best maintained and playable courses I've played. I have been an active player for almost 35 years. From tee box to green, the fairways were plush and greens soft with a good roll. I would recommend this course to everyone--from a scratch golfer to a high handicap. All in all--great course--definitely will return!!

While on vacation in Nags Head three of us played The Pointe on Tuesday and were recommended The Carolina Club by the staff for our Thursday round. Glad we did. Entire staff was very friendly and helpful for our first visit. We started on 10 and the pace of play was perfect. Very challenging front nine. Long par three (played Golds). Several challenging holes that test your ability. Club house staff were great, as was the young lady on the beverage cart. Would highly this course while in the Outer Banks.

Carolina golf club is an outstanding golf course with a friendly staff and a course that is in pristine condition. This is one of the best values and shows with its popularity so play was a little slow. The positives out way the negatives. We were a little more patient with stunning holes to look at , just the beauty of the course will have you in awe!! Putting services were superb,fairways fast with a awesome surface to strike the ball on and tee boxes excellent. Carolina golf club is a dream of a course and a must play if you are traveling to OBX.

It was nice to see a course starter...Also they collected your clubs when you drove in...Overall course was in good condition

Played mid-day with my daughter and had a great time. Wish the driving range was more than 200 yds long but the course was in great shape and we played in under 4 hours.

Outstanding course…very friendly and helpful staff. Average players playing with two beginning juniors; course was challenging but forgiving. Greens were outstanding. Tremendous value…will definitely return!

We played this course last year on vacation and had to play it again this year. It rained the day before our tee time and the course was still great

The first thing I noticed was how green the course was. Next was my exposure to the staff. Everyone was great, upbeat and courteous.
My playing partner and would strongly recommend this course far all abilities.

Save the number 1 & 2 handicap holes this place was great. Possibly won't hit driver on those two again. You have to be careful on these two holes. They give you a course map which helps a lot. Shot 84 with double bogeys on the previously mentioned holes. The rest of the course is somewhat forgiving. Those two holes are not. Bit farther from duck than realized but worth the ride. Highly recommend, plays a bit like the point which was another great course down here that's just a little bit off the island. Was really really really hot the day I played and I believe the beverage cart went by us prob 6-7 times and was the same person. Rarely do you see them that often, worth it!! Enjoy your round and stay hydrated!!

Once again, the Carolina Club did not disappoint. The course was in great shape and while there were a lot of golfers, I finished in around 3 hours playing by myself. The greens were in nice shape for late afternoon play and while the usual suspects#6 and 12 were wet and cart path only, I did not find them to be restrictive. Overall I really enjoyed the day and would highly recommend the drive from the OBX.

Good "resort" course as it is wide open and no rough. Greens are in great shape and run nicely. Staff is great.

Played Carolina Club. Nice course but expensive, friendly people .... it was hot! 95 degreees at 3 PM when we teed off. There was no water in the coolers out on the course. Lucky to find ice but had to work for it. With green fees at $69, that shouldn't happen.

Great course great people couldn't ask for much more. Great deal on golfnow.

From the time I got there to time I departed I was treated just like I been there forever, almost like a local.

Great conditions! From the first tee box to the last green, everything was in championship condition, with FAST greens.
Great time, great weather! We even considered bagging the deep sea fishing and playing the next day.

Had to drive 40 min to course with island traffic but the course was worth the drive. Course great shape, greens fast and fun. Will play again ASAP

Very nice course with several very challenging and unique holes. Greens had been recently top dressed but didn't effect hold much or speed. In fact greens were very slick and if you could read them, you could make a putt. True rolls for sure. Longer hitters and low HDCP avoid anything shorter than the gold tees(limits tee shots too much). Worst thing....DEER FLIES!!! Make sure to pack some repellent or buy it in the Pro Shop....wished I would have. Will play it again for sure next time I'm in the OBX.
