great greens
The first 3 fairways were being punched. After that we had smooth sailing and the greens were great especially for this time of year.
Good conditions for early seaon play
Greens were in great shape for March 2. Smooth and fast for this duffer. Fairways were dormant and brown - duh, it's March, and the area has experienced severe winter weather. The rough was not an issue, but I can imagine what it presents once grass shakes off winter dormancy.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Did not visit the grille/snack bar, but it was cheery and well populated.
Minor quibble: The practice range is limited to 7 iron or less.
I'll play it again the next time I visit the OBX in warmer times.
Excellent inland course for the money
The course is fun and a bit of a challenge to play. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and the grounds are well tended. The course is in the middle of a neighborhood so the scenery is lacking but the houses are set back on large lots so you don't feel cramped. If you visit the OBX don't overlook this one.
great place
brother-in-law, father and i had a GREAT time at carolina club. lunch afterwards was equally satisfying!
Excellent layout....great hole variety.....holes 9 and 18 offer great risk reward
The course was in excellent condition...greens were superb....some of the best I have played.....great staff....the 9th and 18th par 5's are the best risk reward holes you'll see
Target Golf and Great Value!
Got a hot deal on GolfNow for $22 for an afternoon tee time- ridiculous value!!! Windy afternoon playing a course that emphasizes target golf but the course was in great condition and pace of play was excellent. We remarked at least 3 or 4 times during the round that playing a club like this for $22 was like stealing!
great shape for a really comfortable layout for a price even better than quoted by GolfNow. Call course for rates

We love this course
We love this course. Great layout and in good condition.
Great course
Great course and friendly staff. Couse was open and made quick pace of play.
One of the nicest courses I've ever played.
Course was immaculate. Just a beautiful place. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Looking forward to returning on a future vacation
Don't Miss the Opportunity to Play this Course
My first visit to a hidden gem. Every hole unique and the greens were in marvelous shape.
Carolina Club
Cannot say enough good things about this course. I always play this course when I'm visiting OBX. Staff is super friendly and the course is always in super shape. Highly recommend this course.
friendly staff and fast true greens!
Course was alittle wet and cart path only on about 6 holes but they did have alot of rain. As always ,fast true greens. Some well placed bunkers and lakes make for some challenging tee shots. Pace of play was good. And staff goes out of their way to make for a nice round.
Greens were immaculate
Great course and great value, just wish it was closer to the OBX!
Excellent course, super friendly staff, and great value
I thoroughly enjoyed playingthis course. The layout was challenging, but not punishing and full of scenic views. Holes 7, 9, and 18 are now actually on my all-time favorite list. If you are in the Outer Banks, definitely give this course a visit.
Nice choice of tee boxes to alter the degree of difficulty
Several nice holes with target golf involving hitting landing areas prior to clearing water hazards. The course is well maintained with appropriate watering and the staff is cordial. By playing in mid afternoon, the pace of play was faster and we missed most of the day's heat. Certainly worth a round.
Best bang for your buck on the Outer Banks
Course is tough but not unreasonablly tough. Course was in excellent shape, except for possibly 1 bunker that I found myself in. Well worth the price paid for a course at the beach.
water everywhere
Very picturesque, Good mix of some tough holes and easy ones. Lots of water including island green. Most fairwys are wide so yo u can get around the difficult shots but you are rewarded if you can get over the water. Great people and grounds
Beautiful course
challenging and beautiful course. Multiple tees would make it enjoyable for all skill levels. Green complexes were exciting and challenging. Putting was a joy on the well manicured greens
