The Ridge Golf Course & Events Center

While this course remains one of my favorites they need to do something with the greens they seem to have used an overly large tine when they aerated the greens I don't know exactly how long ago this was and they just never recovered they're bumpy not true they don't roll well.I have been trying to ignore this I have to take any good hard look you can see the lines from where they aerated months ago .I'm not a turfoligist so I don't what can be done to fix this but I sure wish they would it's my favorite course and I will continue to play there it just used to be so much

Great layout. Fairways and tee boxes in good shape. Looks like greens had been punched, or attempted to be punched. Even so, the greens seemed like they could have been fundamentally in better shape ... a little disappointing compared to past rounds. Don't know why we don't see hot deals anymore. Again, a very good course ...

I’ve seen recently good prices for the round. Obviously, course management has decided to get as many rounds as possible and let the condition of course go. Really disappointed. Years past this course was the most well maintained! No longer. Definitely out of the rotation.

I really enjoyed playing this course. It wasn’t the longest course, but it made you think. You can’t just grip it and rip it here, there are bunkers positioned that will ruin your handicap. The greens are fast and the first few were a little beat up with odd growing of the grass. It looked like the grass were in different stages of growth. It made for bumpy putting on the first few holes. The pace was good until our last 4 holes where there were four groups bottlenecked. The clubhouse was great and the people were very friendly. I’ll be back for sure.

The ridge is an excellent and challenging track that is well-maintained and has a nice variety of holes to challenge a golf game. Staff is friendly, practice facilities are excellent, and the carts are almost brand new with leather seats and GPS. Only issue is the greens were not in the best shape on a couple of holes; nothing major but made for some bumpy putts and was a challenge to get the pace right.

No carts were available upon check in. Had to wait 15 minutes for a cart. Course conditions were almost excellent. Greens could be better. Pace of play was absolutely horrendous. No one wants to play a 5 1/2 hour round of golf.

Worst greens I’ve seen at the Ridge in all the years I’ve played there. It’s always been one of my top courses in the Sacramento area but this weekend with the 5+ hour round with horrible diseased greens that were super bumpy and fast, not fun!

Always a nice course to play. Play was a bit slow; almost 5 hours and the greens had some issues. Patchy and uneven. Don’t recall it being that way before. Course overall was in good shape. Saw the cart girl 3 times which was nice. They came out and replaced our cart when it was at 2 %. Good services today.

Course was beautiful, but it's not very forgiving lol hard course! The staff was very nice, and got paired up with a great couple. I'd recommend playing at least once to test your patience haha
