Lockwood Folly Country Club

Conditions were good. Greens had been aerated couple weeks ago but played fair overall. Lots of water and sand hazards. Most mistakes you make will cost you a shot. Good layout. Plenty of tee options so just be smart and pick the set of tees fit to your ability.

Should’ve been some knowledge. Coping conditions were good greens where not.

Great course. Beautiful set up and the fairways were in great condion. Greens were recently aerated so in two weeks it should be in awesome condition

Nice course layout, staff was friendly, no GPS in the carts. Fairways were beat up, greens were in rough shape - recently aerated and very sandy, hoping it continues to get better as the season goes on.

Big gap between Blue tees 6,800 and the White tees 6,100

Liked the layout, and a beautiful day. Unfortunately, the course needs a lot of ground maintenance. I would guess they are struggling financially or looking to sell.

Man working in pro shop needs to retire. didn't say a word to me just pointed.

Course is in beautiful condition. Challenging but fair. Definitely a shot maker’s course. Lots of water.

Accuracy off the tee is important. Course knowledge helps too. Greens could be faster and smoother but they were fair. I enjoyed the group I played with, the course is a nice country club setting.

We try to play here every time we go to Holden Beach. We love the location, and the course is beautiful.

Course in good shape, pace of play was slow but overall everything was a pleasant experience.

Wish I could say great things about this course however it is your standard country club course. Two things stand out. The greeter was excellent and helped us being this was our first time playing this course. Second there are 2 holes on the inter coastal are pretty views however that is where this course is no different than any other low land course. Very straight forward layout. Lots of houses on the course that made some holes very tight and not very picture worthy. Not all of the greens were in the best condition and rolled inconsistently. Fairways were ok and tee boxes ok. Also to note you go out and turn on 9 and come back to the clubhouse on 18. The halfway house was closed. As my late grandmother used to say...I made my first and last trip to this course.
