Lockwood Folly Country Club is a superbly conditioned, semi-private, member owned "hidden gem". The course is located at the confluence of the Intracoastal Waterway and the Lockwood Folly River, providing golfers with breathtaking vistas of tidal estuary, moss covered hard- woods and the solitude of nature. Tree lined, nonparallel fairways winding through hardwoods and pine afford a sense of seclusion while challanged with championship golf.

Extremely slow play…and clubhouse didn’t care.

First, paid for four golfers on golf now, only three were able to go. Clubhouse wouldn’t give gift card for the one round. Guy said he didn’t know how to do that.

Then we quit after 11 holes. 3hrs 15 mins at that point. 5 groups on one hole, number 10. It was awful.

Called pro shop and they said they didn’t know if the ranger was there but if he was he would send him out.

We won’t be back…

Folly at the Beach

Greens rolled very fast and true. Fairways were mown low so i got a good deal of roll, even when didn't want it(lol). Windy but very fun day.

Everything about the course was great but we were told had ten minutes between the next start and that did not happen so in turn the next party was hitting into us constantly.

Pace of play was excruciating. Women in front of us were so slow. When I called the club house and asked for a Marshall to speed them us, they had no one to send out. No beverage cart. Only water was at halfway house. Drink machine didn't work.
