Lockwood Folly Country Club

Lockwood Folly is an enjoyable golfing experience. A number of holes demand accuracy off the tee as well as on approach shots. There are a number of dog legs to deal with that require definite accuracy off the tee. A driver is not always smart to use. Also the par fives are well guarded off the tee and on approach shots.

The course was in good condition.

Lockwood Folly is a welcoming course. Those that provide service are positive and very personable.

We had to wait for a thunderstorm to pass which helped thin out the number of golfers. The course was in very good shape with only a few thin spots on the greens. Traps were wet, as expected, but in overall good shape. The starter was friendly and explained flag location and which holes were cart path only due to the rain. We are headed back in a day and expect the same conditions. You should enjoy this course, the grounds around the course add to the atmosphere.

Course Layout is nice! Play one tee box back from what you usually do. Very quick turns can be confusing. Cart paths need to see some love.

With heavy rain pouring in MB the radar looked clear at Lockwood Folly. What a great find! The layout , conditions and staff were all amazing. The price is very reasonable also

Course conditions were really good and price was reasonable. Fairways and greens were in good shape and bunkers well maintained. Pace of play was excellent for our 3-some with a Tue, 1150 teetime. Challenging layout that requires some course management.

Very friendly staff. Good fellow golfers. Course in good condition. Tee boxes could use some work. I’ll be back!

Brutally humid when we played. Had the course to ourselves and moved perfectly until the last 3 holes - traffic jam.

Tight fairways and the greens were perfect.

Halfway house was closed - they should have told us and let us know before we teed off.

Beverage cart attendant was very nice - saw her 1x on front side and 3x on back side.

We saw several alligators and a lot of other animals on the course.

Well worth the greens fees.

Staff was very friendly and informative when I mentioned this was my first time playing at Lockwood. I was paired with very friendly local players with course knowledge to help with the landing areas. This was needed since the carts were not equipped with gps. Score cards were lacking course layout information also. This is the reason for only a 4 star overall rating.

Staff was amazing and the course was gorgeous and challenging. Only con was that the greens still had ripples in them from new sod being placed down so it was hard to read putts and it caused the ball to bounce.

Putting a bit rough. Not a lot of drinking water on course.

Quality of course for price is excellent. Good challenge, excellent condition of tee box, fairway and greens.

On vacation from Ohio. Played this course by myself. No one in my group showed up so I was able to play alone. The club house is really nice. Bathrooms really clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly being my first time there. The course was in great shape. The greens were just fertilized but were in great shape. Little hard compared to Ohio this time of year. They were putting good. Fairways were nice and so was the sand. Had the pleasure of trying it out twice. The layout and community is really nice also. I enjoyed every minute of my experience there. Highly recommended playing this course.
