The course is located at the confluence of the Intracoastal Waterway and the Lockwood Folly River, providing golfers with breathtaking vistas of tidal estuary, moss covered hard- woods and the solitude of nature. Tree lined, nonparallel fairways winding through hardwoods and pine afford a sense of seclusion while challanged with championship golf.

Lockwood Folly GC
Pace of play was excruciating. Women in front of us were so slow. When I called the club house and asked for a Marshall to speed them us, they had no one to send out. No beverage cart. Only water was at halfway house. Drink machine didn't work.

Some of the greens were patchy with growth. Lots of slow members in front of us (I assume they were members). Very nice layout and a challenging course.

Never have had a bad experience at this golf course between being in decent shape to play and a beautiful variety of golf holes throughout . Challenging but playable for all handicaps.
