About
Lockwood Folly Country Club is a superbly conditioned, semi-private, member owned "hidden gem". The course is located at the confluence of the Intracoastal Waterway and the Lockwood Folly River, providing golfers with breathtaking vistas of tidal estuary, moss covered hard- woods and the solitude of nature. Tree lined, nonparallel fairways winding through hardwoods and pine afford a sense of seclusion while challanged with championship golf.

Golfer Reviews
First time playing at Lockwood
Staff was very friendly and informative when I mentioned this was my first time playing at Lockwood. I was paired with very friendly local players with course knowledge to help with the landing areas. This was needed since the carts were not equipped with gps. Score cards were lacking course layout information also. This is the reason for only a 4 star overall rating.
Great course for price.
Staff was amazing and the course was gorgeous and challenging. Only con was that the greens still had ripples in them from new sod being placed down so it was hard to read putts and it caused the ball to bounce.
Greens were verticut
Putting a bit rough. Not a lot of drinking water on course.
Lockwood Folly Country Club
On vacation from Ohio. Played this course by myself. No one in my group showed up so I was able to play alone. The club house is really nice. Bathrooms really clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly being my first time there. The course was in great shape. The greens were just fertilized but were in great shape. Little hard compared to Ohio this time of year. They were putting good. Fairways were nice and so was the sand. Had the pleasure of trying it out twice. The layout and community is really nice also. I enjoyed every minute of my experience there. Highly recommended playing this course.
Nice greens
Enjoyed the course, especially the bent greens. We would have played round in under four hours if not for local “Richards” playing in front of us. Waited on every shot after the fourth hole..
Lockwood should teach its members better etiquette.
Excellent course
A lot of unique challenges on each hole. Greens were fast but fairways were nice & well maintained. The whole back nine was tough with water & sand obstacles. Only one true dog lies left like the olden days but really a lot of fun with lots of wildlife!! Will play again with my friend on Thursday. A nice group of ladies were playing from the area & was good to see females on the course. Felt welcome by all. !!
Getting better
$45 per person with a hot deal. Tee boxes could use some leveling out. Fairways and greens are in better shape than last year. Greens rolling true around 11. Sand traps are consistent and very shallow. Recommend this course for any skill level.
Fairways greens and cart paths are in serious need of help. Only a few fairways were in good shape.
