Sea Scape Golf Links in Kitty Hawk, N.C. is one of the premier courses on the Outer Banks. The course has the feel of a traditional Scottish links layout thanks to the seaside location and landscape of windswept dunes. The golf course differs from a classic open links design because of the coastal forests that accent the terrain, which provides some shelter from the ocean breezes. The vibrant blue waters contrast beautifully with the dark green treetops. The most challenging feature of the golf course is the constant up and down. Golfers will face uneven lies as well as blind shots. Sea Scape Golf Links is relatively short at 6,131 yards from the back tees but it plays longer due to the variety of elevation changes, which range from subtle to dramatic.

Slow play
Course was average and not extremely challenging. Pace of play was the bigger issue. I was stuck behind a five some that refused to let us play thru and the ranger did nothing about it. I am not sure why they allowed such but it made for a long day. The price was a little high as well given the course.

Friendly staff good layout
I could only play 9 holes since I was squeezing in a round before a late start to working remote. Course was in great shape and greens were good. I thought they could be cut a bit shorter and even though it didn't effect me personally in the round there were a lot of ball marks. Another issue was that although the tee boxes weren't bad, they weren't as flat as I'd expect for the price. All in all had an excellent time and the golf was sneaky challenging. Meaning that there were some sneaky blind spots and elevation changes that made it more difficult. I'd play here again and certainly want to see the back 9. Quality spot worth checking out.

True links golf cut through the dunes and woods of the Outer Banks. Greens were excellent!.

Friendly Staff
The staff was very friendly and gave great customer service, from the person picking up my clubs, the starters, and on-course marshals.
The condition of the course was very good considering they had a lot of rain the day before.
Nice layout, fairly narrow course with a lot of houses on the fairways, so a bit tight for my game, but overall a good option in the Outer Banks.

Very Friendly, Beautiful Course
Beautiful Course!! Staff was super friendly and helpful. The course was in excellent condition! They're working with limited space but made it a fun and manageable course. Very laid back. Only area of complaint (and hardly a complaint) is the pace. We had some groups in front of us that played very slow and no offer of letting smaller groups play through, should have been managed by staff. But overall, excellent course and staff

Beautiful Course!
This will be my go to course when I am in town. The Staff and Pro are very friendly. The Course was in great shape. The landscape is calming and at the same time challenging. Every hole has places to avoid and if you can do that you can have a great round. They have a card that lays out the holes, that you should use it is very helpful.

Great challenging golf course. Still had winter conditions on the fairways but easy to hit from. Greens were in great shape.
