About
Sea Scape Golf Links in Kitty Hawk, N.C. is one of the premier courses on the Outer Banks. The course has the feel of a traditional Scottish links layout thanks to the seaside location and landscape of windswept dunes. The golf course differs from a classic open links design because of the coastal forests that accent the terrain, which provides some shelter from the ocean breezes. The vibrant blue waters contrast beautifully with the dark green treetops. The most challenging feature of the golf course is the constant up and down. Golfers will face uneven lies as well as blind shots. Sea Scape Golf Links is relatively short at 6,131 yards from the back tees but it plays longer due to the variety of elevation changes, which range from subtle to dramatic.

Definitely come back
Played here today for first time, would definitely play here again. Would be nice if fellow golfers would have repaired their divets on the greens but overall, well maintained course. Some very nice long par 5s to start.

Poor Pace
No round of golf should take in excess of five hours to play. Call back to the club house promised to take action and correct the issue NONE ....No ranger to enforce the pace and groups taking in excess of thirty minutes on a hole is totally unacceptable!! Complained in the club house pro shop after the round and was given “I’m sorry”. .....Well so am I never to return again!

Slow
Course was in great condition BUT, there were two issues. One was the first bathroom was unusable, plumbing stopped up. The bigger issue was the pace of play. It started from the first hole. 5.45 hours. Called the club house and said they would take care of it. Three groups waiting after a par 5. One of the those groups called the owner of the course. The owner said call the club house. Called club house and pace still did not speed up. If you are going to have a full tee sheet, Have the rangers out in force. One group holding up the hold course is a way to loose money. Two stars because of pace of play

This course is beautifully laid out
You don’t need markers to the next hole. The course is a little challenging on the first hole but after that, is isn’t as daunting. The course is well maintained and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely going to go back!

Best on the island
I always play here when visiting OBX
Hands down best public course on the island. Got a deal online. What a bargain. Golf doesn't have to cost $100 at Bags Head. Great layout and challenging for all. Just wish people would fix a ball mark or two even if they didn't make one. Staff is super relaxed and helpful. Being a former golf course asst sup I pay attention to those details.

Sea scaping solo
Down to OBX for vacay with the family and decided to get away for a bit for a round of golf. It’s been pretty warm lately so I had the course to myself, and it was hot, but there is always a nice breeze on the outer banks. Course was in great shape although greens are showing signs of heavy play/unrepaired divots. Overall In good shape. Good golf without having to the leave the “island”! Will be back

Very nice island course
Course was in good shape, fun design was easy for a player with no local knowledge to get around, not many blind shots or unusual reads on greens. A fun round of golf.

Fun Layout
Had not played Seascape in 5 years. Course is in very good condition tho the greens (bent grass) were a bit spongy and slow. Good layout through maritime forest. Back to back par 3's is unique. Need to play for bounces off the tee as many of the fairways have a lot of slope to them. Some very good par 4's on the back 9.

Course has fully recovered from last year's winter kill. Shoutout to Grace, who runs their carts and greets you in the parking lot. Best ever at her job!

Surprising
It is tighter and tougher than it seems. No 2 holes the same interesting play. No real sand.

The price is a deterrent to play again
I've played this course every year for the past 5 or 6 years along with the other penninsula course, currituck club, The Pointe, Kilmarliv, and Carolins club. Considering currituck is $150 for a morning round, seascapes ($94)is nowhere near the quality of currituck. Also, the inland courses (kilmarlic and Carolina club are much much nicer for less and have almost no issue with speed of play). Today, I was disappointed to find a morning round cost $94, which really isn't justifiable given the course layout, course conditions, and the 3 slow groups in front of us.
I do like this course but for less money you can have the course to yourself inland.
