Sea Scape Golf Links in Kitty Hawk, N.C. is one of the premier courses on the Outer Banks. The course has the feel of a traditional Scottish links layout thanks to the seaside location and landscape of windswept dunes. The golf course differs from a classic open links design because of the coastal forests that accent the terrain, which provides some shelter from the ocean breezes. The vibrant blue waters contrast beautifully with the dark green treetops. The most challenging feature of the golf course is the constant up and down. Golfers will face uneven lies as well as blind shots. Sea Scape Golf Links is relatively short at 6,131 yards from the back tees but it plays longer due to the variety of elevation changes, which range from subtle to dramatic.

Great Course Better GN Rate
Course has Wide fairways greens for the most part were pretty good . This is DEFINITELY a Driver course. They did just have a hurricane. Greens were rolling pretty good. This course for the Hot Deal price is a steal. This course had FREEZING COLD WATER on the course and was Amazing
Love this course
We vacation in the OBX every September and I return to this course once or twice in the two weeks we are there. I played as a single two times this year and pretty much had the course to myself. Was able to complete 18 holes both times in less than 3 1/2 hours. Course was in great shape - greens were like lightning. Staff in the clubhouse were wonderful. I will definitely be back next year when we go down.
Adequate
Nothing really stood out or blew my mind about this course either positive or negative. We had a good experience with no issues. I would play it again for the hot deal rate some other time I vacation in the OBX.

great vacation golf
Played 18 on August 25.
Clubhouse attendant was very friendly and helpful. Gave our group a great rate and several tips on playing the course, as it was our first time. Friendly service in bar area also, and clubs were loaded onto our carts while we were in clubhouse.
Course was in pretty good shape. Large, soft greens and wide fairways on the front nine. A bit tighter on the back nine, as the course is lined with houses. Several deep bunkers, water hazards and longish par 3's made the round challenging, but not intimidating from the white tees.
Overall, had a good afternoon of golf on our vacation, and wouldn't hesitate to play this course again if I make it back to OBX.

Good value for vacation trip
The course had a nice layout but the greens were pretty beat up. Maybe from the lack of rain in the east this summer. The man working in clubhouse was very friendly and took care of us as in we were in from out of town. Overall I good course and a good experience, I would recommend to play seascape

Very easy to lose balls on thiis course.
Course conditions were not great with many brown areas in the fairways, some greens had disease on them, and some tee boxes were thin.

Locals Rule
I love this course. However, if you're not a local don't expect anyone to give you the time of day. Especially in the pro shop where I was ignored for 5 minutes while the older gentleman behind the counter shot the bull with surprise surprise a local.

Great greens but overall poor shape
The greens are great but fairways are not good at all. For the price that is charged we really expected a quality golf course but unfortunately your paying for convenience if you play here. We will not be playing this course again on returning trips to the OBX

We like this course
Course was not crowded and was in good condition. We didn't need to get paired up and the pace was good. We like Seascspe and play here several times a year.

Enjoyable traditional course
My partner and I were convinced there wasn't going to be a course located in the middle of Kitty Hawk, but there it was! Challenging, relatively tight, with true greens, it is a nice venue for the middle of Kitty Hawk. We plan on playing it again next year.

First time back after 30 + years!
I had played this course last way back in the early 1980's! I found out about the fantastic GolfNow special greenfee price just before leaving home on Sunday to drive to the Outer Banks for a Monday meeting. I put my clubs in the car just in case? On Monday the weather report for Tuesday was very good so I booked the tee time for Tuesday, the day I would be returning home (about a 2 Hr drive). I got the 12:30 pm tee time on Monday afternoon at GolfNow. Arriving at the course about 90 min. before my tee time, I had a great chicklen salad sandwich in "Michelles". The course pro greeted me in the proshop and was very welcoming. I was paired with a couple from New Hampshire who were visiting the Outer Banks. They both were very congenial . We had great conversations on the course and parted as new friends. The golf course itself, was in very good condition. the greens were perfect and the fairways were freshly mowed. The layout had changed somewhat since the last time I was there in the '80's, mainly with the addition of waste areas strategically placed. I played the white tees (They have black, gold, white & red.) since I am 71 years young. I would rate the course, the pro shop and the restaurant excellent overall. I forgot to mention that they had just purchased all new electric golf carts! It was a fun day for me.

Excellent
The golf was perfect but the food and beverage was lacking. The course had plenty of timev to prepare, so sending a cart girl out with just water and Gatorade was sad. Beer was available but if you don't drink....but all in all we had a great expirence, no real complaints.

Nice course
Had a great time got pared with two other great fellows. Greens rolled pretty true and quick. Not much room to miss the fairway nice course had great time.

Off Season play
Very good course. Well maintained.
Some challenging holes. Par 70.
Usually very busy during the summer tourist season. Will take 5 hours to play. No driving range. Still highly recommend playing if you get the chance.
