I had played this course last way back in the early 1980's! I found out about the fantastic GolfNow special greenfee price just before leaving home on Sunday to drive to the Outer Banks for a Monday meeting. I put my clubs in the car just in case? On Monday the weather report for Tuesday was very good so I booked the tee time for Tuesday, the day I would be returning home (about a 2 Hr drive). I got the 12:30 pm tee time on Monday afternoon at GolfNow. Arriving at the course about 90 min. before my tee time, I had a great chicklen salad sandwich in "Michelles". The course pro greeted me in the proshop and was very welcoming. I was paired with a couple from New Hampshire who were visiting the Outer Banks. They both were very congenial . We had great conversations on the course and parted as new friends. The golf course itself, was in very good condition. the greens were perfect and the fairways were freshly mowed. The layout had changed somewhat since the last time I was there in the '80's, mainly with the addition of waste areas strategically placed. I played the white tees (They have black, gold, white & red.) since I am 71 years young. I would rate the course, the pro shop and the restaurant excellent overall. I forgot to mention that they had just purchased all new electric golf carts! It was a fun day for me.

The golf was perfect but the food and beverage was lacking. The course had plenty of timev to prepare, so sending a cart girl out with just water and Gatorade was sad. Beer was available but if you don't drink....but all in all we had a great expirence, no real complaints.

Had a great time got pared with two other great fellows. Greens rolled pretty true and quick. Not much room to miss the fairway nice course had great time.

Very good course. Well maintained.
Some challenging holes. Par 70.
Usually very busy during the summer tourist season. Will take 5 hours to play. No driving range. Still highly recommend playing if you get the chance.

This course has come a long way from the poor conditions of a couple of decades ago. It now has good Bermuda fairway surfaces and very good greens. First hole is a long one but even the duffer will find distances from the white tees reasonable after the initial hole.

The course was in good shape and well maintained. The greens had been aerated recently, so were a little bumpy.
The biggest hindrance was the wind blowing quite strongly.

Very unhappy that Golfnow did not note that this course was in aeration process and we could not play all 18 holes. Rough was 6" deep, so we lost about 15 balls a piece. Not happy

Not worth $79.00 but it's a nice course. Staff was very friendly and informative.

Was excited to try a new course. Staff charged $20 for a friend (photographer) to ride with me. I said I had never been charged for a rider fee and he asked if he should pay for it himself. Well you can imagine how things went from there. The starter spent 10 minutes describing every detail of the course. Dude, just let me play! The course was boring, same scenery, tee to green. The food matched everything else. All in all a day I should have gone fishing. Golf, food, riding fee, $100. Ouch.

My Father and I tee'd off while it was drizzling with a possible shower or two while we were out there. On the fifth Tee I had wet hands so i could not wear a glove and denied my Fathers offer for rain Gloves. (Because who needs stinking rain gloves) I swung with my driver and in my follow through the club slipped out of my hands and went about 30+ feet in the air and landed in the trees off the left of the Tee Box and unfortunately never came down. We looked for a few minutes and couldn't find it and had no way to get it down. We played on and I ultimately thought it was gone forever. We continued through 9 but the weather got to be too much so we stopped at the turn. I decided to at least take a chance at the course helping me out and get my driver out of the tree when it stopped raining. I thought it was a long shot because in my experience lost clubs are more often found by players and kept then the course finding them and returning them. TO MY SURPRISE. I went back to Seascape to play a few days later and the Course Pro was inside and had my driver waiting for me in the pro shop. This made my already wonderful experience at seascape golf course a whole lot better. I played Seascape 4 times while I was on vacation and every time was perfect. Good pace of play, course was a good condition even with the high amount of play it gets.

Course in good shape. Some holes challengimg,, others not so much. Pace of play a little slow. Overall a little better than average value.

A very nice day on the course. Never felt rushed and would do this again in a second.

Course in good condition and pace of play was good. That could be because it was 95 degrees, not many fools out there. Staff very friendly.

This is a nice course with many challenges. Keep it in play and hit the greens and you can score.

I haven't been this impressed with the staff on a golf course in my entire golf life. I brought my 5 year old to play golf with me at Sea Scape today for a 12:33 tee time. I purchased the round on Golf Now. My 5 year old, Declan, loves golf and has been playing since he was 2. We walk into their pro shop and we are greeted by two gentleman. I give them our tee time and name and they said "Golf Now?" The gentleman looks at Declan and asks if he will be playing also. Declan looks and me for reassurance and I say 'yes'. I can see the gentleman's excitement and he tells Declan their names and shakes his hand. He then gives Declan a logo'ed ball and tells him not to give to daddy - that it is for him. This is really special for Declan because we always buy a logo'ed ball everywhere we play and put it in our golf ball keeper on the wall. The gentleman gave us the normal rules about which hole is cart-path only and to go to the cart path when we see the signs but never mentioned pass of play. This is why I am writing this post. I am very conscious of pace of play with my buddies and especially with my 5 year old. My 5 year old plays very fast and pace of play is usually never an issue - but the gentleman didn't know that. They treated him like he was a professional golfer. We finished 18.. Never held up anyone.. We picked his ball up 3 times and moved it to mine to keep pace of play. We got home and told his mom about playing golf today.. His comments were "they gave me a ball", "we didn't have to wait, they let us go by ourselves." This place is top notch! We come to the beach every year and I will make Sea Scape our new home course. Great job guys... You ARE what every golf course should be modeled after.

The course is really suited to advanced golfers narrow fairways doglegs

Course was in great shape. All staff very friendly and attentive. Beverage cart was very visible. Bring some extra balls if you miss the fairways. A little pricey, but worth it.

Nice greens, some signature holes, and the course was in good condition. Truly has become my favorite course.

Very nice OBX course and reasonably priced. No Driving Range.
