Sea Scape Golf Links in Kitty Hawk, N.C. is one of the premier courses on the Outer Banks. The course has the feel of a traditional Scottish links layout thanks to the seaside location and landscape of windswept dunes. The golf course differs from a classic open links design because of the coastal forests that accent the terrain, which provides some shelter from the ocean breezes. The vibrant blue waters contrast beautifully with the dark green treetops. The most challenging feature of the golf course is the constant up and down. Golfers will face uneven lies as well as blind shots. Sea Scape Golf Links is relatively short at 6,131 yards from the back tees but it plays longer due to the variety of elevation changes, which range from subtle to dramatic.

Play it
Really nice course. I will definitely be back when I visit. There is no driving range, but in the space available, there’s really no room for one.
Longer than you think.
The coarse plays longer , because a lot of the holes play uphill. Great golf course!
Nice layout
Course in pretty good shape considering time of year. Greens rolled well. Had recently been topdressed which wasn’t relayed to us.

we enjoyed our play here, the staff was great, the course was in pretty good shape, the greens were beat up but understandable for the end of season play. overall we had a great experience and will be back
Golf fun and challenge in the OBX, N.C.
I have been vacationing in the Outer Banks with my wife for almost 30 years and since I got back into golf about 15 years ago I try to play a couple of times while on vacation. I discovered Sea Scape golf links probably 5 years ago and it is the only course I play when I am there. It is fun and challenging for a 20 handicapper like me with some fun and interesting holes. It is also a beautiful well maintained course that isn’t exposed to the wind of the ocean with scenic views of beautiful homes and landscapes. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough for handicappers like me or the more skilled golfer with the right tee box for your game. Also a friendly and helpful staff that will make sure your experience at Sea Scape is top notch. A good value
for the money. And when you have completed your round you can enjoy a refreshing beverage and delicious food in their Sandtrap Tavern. So if you are in the Outer Banks for vacation or God forbid, work, give Sea Scape a try, you will not be disappointed.

shot 40 and 40 which couple of bad holes bit course is friendly and easy for mid handicappers

Overall the course a was in good shape for a vacation area. Greens were mostly in great shape with the exception of one which had some black mold. Staff members were quite helpful. I will play here next time I’m here.

Just not my kind of golf course. Everything was fine for an ocean course. But not earthshaking.

Nice course greens could have been on better shape, but it is the end of summer vacation season.
