Sea Scape Golf Links in Kitty Hawk, N.C. is one of the premier courses on the Outer Banks. The course has the feel of a traditional Scottish links layout thanks to the seaside location and landscape of windswept dunes. The golf course differs from a classic open links design because of the coastal forests that accent the terrain, which provides some shelter from the ocean breezes. The vibrant blue waters contrast beautifully with the dark green treetops. The most challenging feature of the golf course is the constant up and down. Golfers will face uneven lies as well as blind shots. Sea Scape Golf Links is relatively short at 6,131 yards from the back tees but it plays longer due to the variety of elevation changes, which range from subtle to dramatic.

Seascape Review
I played this course on Memorial weekend, so I didn’t expect the pace to be fast, but it was tolerable and steady. Greens were in excellent shape and the fairways were decent and well kept. I enjoyed my round and plan on returning next year.
So fun
Will definitely play again next time we’re in town!
OBX Highlight
Seascape is a good little course with a lot of par threes. It was in great condition and we played as a couple (HONEYMOON GOLF). The layout was interesting and kept our attention. May is a wonderful time to be on the OBX, with good weather, springtime grass, and a friendly staff.
2nd chances do matter
When this course has its pace of play in order, it is quite enjoyable. I shall return.
Like Cape Cod
The feeling of New England was apparent in the layout of this course. Great conditions and pace of play for a twosome! Layout is interesting with 3 par threes on each nine, but good variety among the holes. Enjoyed the round and would play there again.
Not Bad for a seaside course
Able to get an earlier start than originally booked. Weather was ideal and course in good shape. Some areas in fairways had gnarly grass growing through the Bermuda, but overall in good shape. Greens in very nice condition and recently aerated, but rolling true.
Good for OBX
At first, it was crowded, but then some groups let me play thru (I was solo). I liked that it was wide open for the most part. The wind made it challenging. I will def play again.

Course in good shape for this time of year, joined another threescore and had good time.
Nice course but not worth $170. $80 is a more realistic number
Pace of Play Issues
The course was in really good shape for late December, the greens were really smooth and speedy - a good test of golf. Wish they had a range but not a huge deal. The Director of Golf couldn't have been nicer.
The pace of play though was brutal. I finally gave up after 12 holes, when we were the 2nd group waiting on 13 tee and the other group waiting was about as slow and clueless as I thought possible.
Decent resort style course.
Decent layout, more elevation changes than expected. Good conditioning for December. Greens fairly flat but rolled well. No walking allowed, which was disappointing to a die-hard walker.
Play it
Really nice course. I will definitely be back when I visit. There is no driving range, but in the space available, there’s really no room for one.
