Sea Scape Golf Links in Kitty Hawk, N.C. is one of the premier courses on the Outer Banks. The course has the feel of a traditional Scottish links layout thanks to the seaside location and landscape of windswept dunes. The golf course differs from a classic open links design because of the coastal forests that accent the terrain, which provides some shelter from the ocean breezes. The vibrant blue waters contrast beautifully with the dark green treetops. The most challenging feature of the golf course is the constant up and down. Golfers will face uneven lies as well as blind shots. Sea Scape Golf Links is relatively short at 6,131 yards from the back tees but it plays longer due to the variety of elevation changes, which range from subtle to dramatic.

First time Sea Scape
This was my first time playing here. Windy day with plenty of sun. Course is tree lined and a little tight at times. Mix of holes with some water here and there. Some blind shots on back 9 but group in front of us quit after 9. Either i wasnt looking at the right times but i never saw the ocean from the course. No biggie. Enjoyable. Would play again.

Nice Vacation Course
Course was in great shape. Relatively easy if you can keep the ball in play, left or right of the fairway you'll never find your ball. Greens were super slow. Pace of play was painful but it is peak season here. Would not pay full rate but if you can catch a deal it's worth it.

Best Bet on the OBX!
Seascape is your best bet for a great golfing experience on the Outer Banks. A true links style course that winds along the sand dunes and back into the maritime forest of the OBX. Fairways are in impeccable shape, and the greens roll true. Staff is super friendly and professional. Sandtrap Tavern has great food available too. Breakfast is the best.

Very scenic with a great layout. Tee boxes and greens needed a little tlc. It seems like nobody repairs ball marks. Bar had a great brunch with live music.

Sea Scape Review
It’s one of the few courses on the island. While the condition is nice, the course is rather plain to what I was expecting. The value was good. However, if I was to golf on vacation again, I would surely aim to play somewhere else. All of the other courses I’ve played in Outer Banks are nicer. (The Pointe, Carolina Club, Kilmarlic club) Sea Scape does have a putting green and nice little chipping green. However, no driving range. The course is kind of smashed between houses which is also why it lacks scenery. Barely any water or sand traps.

Good but pricey
The course is in great shape and in a prime location in the heart of the outer banks. That being said they can charge more than the course is worth because of the limited game in town. If price is no issue this is worth the stop on a obx golf outing for sure
