About
Sea Scape Golf Links in Kitty Hawk, N.C. is one of the premier courses on the Outer Banks. The course has the feel of a traditional Scottish links layout thanks to the seaside location and landscape of windswept dunes. The golf course differs from a classic open links design because of the coastal forests that accent the terrain, which provides some shelter from the ocean breezes. The vibrant blue waters contrast beautifully with the dark green treetops. The most challenging feature of the golf course is the constant up and down. Golfers will face uneven lies as well as blind shots. Sea Scape Golf Links is relatively short at 6,131 yards from the back tees but it plays longer due to the variety of elevation changes, which range from subtle to dramatic.

Good conditions for July
Fairways and bunkers were good. Greens (bent) were a little slow. Fun, funky layout with lots of par 3's and 5's. Don't know that I'd pay their rack rate.

MY FAVORITE COURSE AT OBC
This was my third and fourth time playing Seascape. I absolutely love the combinations of long straight fairways and wooded, rolling fairways, elevated tees and greens, and the friendliness of the staff. The greens were in superb condition as well as the fairways. I hooked up with a couple of local guys whom I plan to play with now each year we come down from Maryland. Keep up the great work! This course is a bargain! I Will be back,!!

Best at OBX
Sea Scape Golf Links has everything- plains, lakes, sand, desert, trees, rocks, hills, friendly, supportive staff.
Very pleasant experience. Something for all skill levels.

Early Season, First Timer
Even though not busy, I felt the pro shop manager was very short with me. But, he did let my 1 rider go free.
Their starter, Forest, on the other hand was over the top friendly with lots of tips and levity.
Drinks at the bar were reasonable, $5 bloody Marys, and bartenders were friendly.
For this time of year, the course was well maintained and the greens were fast.
Overall great time with my extended family!
If I return, will definitely play again.

Good layout. Have played many times over last 30 years of visits to OBX. Some, actually most, fairways have not grown in just yet. Mostly this is a problem from lack of rain and just the time of year. Greens were good. Enjoyed and will return.

Very nice layout. Fairways were slightly bare of grass. Lack of rain and growing season just starting will make that happen every year. No fault of course. Greens were good. Playing partners were very nice. All told nice day on a golf course.

March golf
Tough starting hole, early March golf, didn't have a chance to hit the driving range before playing.
The tee boxes were not mowed and they were shaggy
Evidence of moles or other digging animals on the course
The starter got me off earlier than my scheduled tee time
The pace of play was pretty good, only waited on a couple of holes and still played in under 4 hrs
Will definitely play here again if I get the chance, here on vacation
Greens are well looked after, they had been aerated earlier this spring but not an issue today

OBX golf
Everyone was great from pro shop at check in to people on the course. I was playing by myself had a twosome and another fivesome that let me through. So the pace of play was fast the way I like it!!

Nice Winter Round
A gorgeous day golfing and for February it was spectacular. Greens were in terrific shape as were the traps (not that we were in any of them), fairways were of course dormant for winter. The course is challenging because in general if you miss the fairway you are toast and it uses some nice doglegs to preclude gripping it and ripping it. We come down here every winter for a week or two and my brother in law always bring our clubs and once again we were not disappointed.
