Woodlands/Meadows at Traces Golf Club, The

My buddy mentioned that the rough was a little fuzzy. I told him to try it from the fairway. They were perfect. Always a real treat to play here.

Nice course. It was in good shape. It's pretty challenging. Lots of dog legs and water. Greens were a little slow but this course is fun and a great value. They have 27 holes. Their staff was awesome. I'll be back

Had a great day on the course. Greens had been aerated 3 or 4 weeks ago. Mostly grown in but a little bumpy. Overall was very pleased with the day and course. Will be back again.

Played Creekside and Woodlands today. Course was in very good shape. Fairways had plenty of grass. Greens were a little slow but very few bounces on putts.

Very slow greens but in good shape for the area. Sand traps are the only really negative for this club, they are hard and almost always have water issues. Course is fun with a good layout and pretty forgiving. 3 nine hole layout but plays slow for the amount of traffic it gets. T times are not really enforced and groups stack up with slow play even on low traffic days. For a bigger golf club (27 holes) it seems to miss the mark.

Very nice semi-private course. Well maintained and ran through several neighborhoods… and houses are everywhere.

Course was in great shape. Pace of play was on the money. Best golf course to play in Florence s.c.

Course is easily accessible off I-20 and I-95. 27 holes, well kept driving range, sand bunker practice area, and putting green. Course provides interesting shots. 3 Pars are mostly mid-irons but many well protected.

My first time playing the course staff is very friendly came out of the pro shop and showed us exactly where to go. Front 9 was very relaxing pace of play was very good course condition. Very nice, greens are a little bit slow, but they did Roll True. We did let a single play Through. The second nine was a different story was not as relaxing as the front night. We had some members behind us playing from the red tees. So we felt like we’re being pushed, even though they only waited for maybe a minute or two. We finished our round under four hours, which I thought the pace of play was right on time.Not sure if I will play again anytime soon. not because of Course conditions or staff.

Had a round to remember with my Dad. Was in the local area to get work done on my boat and decided to play golf. I am glad we did at Traces. Great, welcoming and truly authentic staff and course was fun. Its open which I enjoyed while challenging enough to make it exciting. Good course conditions.
