About
Village Greens Golf Club sprawls across over 100 acres of what used to be farmland situated between Inman and Gramling. Remnants of the old farm can be seen throughout the course, including pear trees from the original orchard that line the 10th fairway. When the golf course was built in 1969, many new trees were planted but much care was taken so as not to obstruct the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, providing nearly every hole with views that stretch from Glassy Mountain to Chimney Rock. The layout has a classic design that is playable for a wide range of skill levels. Sparkling lakes and ponds accent the landscape, coming into play on a few holes. Village Greens Golf Club's most memorable water hole is the course's signature sixth. This short par 3 features a semi-island green that is surrounded by water on two sides, along with three bunkers and out-of-bounds on the right.

Challenging course
Pace of play just terrible- starter should move people along that are betting as they are playing on holes
Clubhouse person that day was a total jerk with an fu attitude

Great experience
Played village greens a few times before and course is usually in good shape just like this time. Interacted with the staff a little more today and they were very nice
Great value
Course was in very good condition! Fairways, rough, and greens all looked great and well maintained. Just need people to patch their ball marks on the greens or have a roller as the greens were a little bumpy from people not repairing their ball marks. Obviously this is a people problem and not the course or maintenance peoples fault. Super soft and forgiving greens from all the recent rain

Good Outing
Course was busy but we finished nine in two hours. Have played a few other courses around recently and the conditions here were quite good. Will be returning soon.

Best Shape I've seen EVER!!!!
I golf at Village Greens 2-3 times per week. I have been golfing there for a little over 6 years and the course is in the best shape I've ever seen it! Cart paths are being repaired/redone and progress is great so far. The Monday "Everybody plays" dogfight is a lot of fun for those 21 and older. The Wednesday "Hump Day Hackers" for Seniors 55 and older always has a fantastic turn out! Thank you Travis and staff for all your hard work and efforts!.
Greens
Was doing work on putting in new cart paths, other than that course was in great shape! Greens were the best I’ve putted this year! Fast but not a bump in them....
Cart path crazy
While the improvements to the cart paths were necessary the construction all over the place was disruptive! Cart path only on hole number eighteen is horrible!!
We're working diligently to get everything in order. Thank you for putting up with the construction!
Great value, great time
Greens were fantastic and fast. Fairways and first cut were awesome. Course is under a bit of construction for new cart paths, but will definitely play there many more times.
