The Preserve at Verdae

Enjoyed staying and playing this course. The staff was friendly and helpful and the course is in great shape. The practice area is fantastic.
I would definitely recommend this course to any level of player.

Great course in excllent condition. Somewhat pricey for the local area, but there are some deals available.

enjoyed the course, every hole was different and had character. The course was in great shape even though we are experiencing a drought. Shot placement off the tee was pretty important to provide a good angle for your second shot. Its typically somewhat pricey but I got a great deal on golf now.

I was paired up with 2 course employees and they made the round very enjoyable!

The course is ideal in many ways. Layout can be challenging but not defeating. Fairways were in great shape. Greens had recently been punched, but rolled pretty well. Several greens had large areas under repair. This particular day the pace of play was dreadfully slow. I was advised by one of the off duty rangers who was playing in a group ahead of me to skip a couple holes and come back and play the two I skipped. It was so congested I never was able to play the two holes I skipped. I was scoring well that day, but will only know my score based 16 holes.

I like the course, played it now for the 4th time. Always in good shape,,aAlways challenging. The greens are fast even after aerifcation. Just a great place to play. Only the foursome in front of us where extremely slow.

Overall course in great shape. Fairways lush and clean. Greens running true with subtle undulations. Rough at a professional degree of difficulty. Traps were clean and groomed with clean sand. Enjoyed challenge but much too difficult for my game!

I enjoyed this course, but it is demanding especially if you are playing it for the first time. Good tee shots are required, and strong iron play is helpful. Greens putted smooth, and nice speed. I will definitely play again.

I played this course on July 15th, 2015. Was greeted by a friendly attendant in the pro-shop. Utilized their range for a great price. Was paired up by a very friendly ranger. Walked 18 holes - Very unique and challenging course. Satisfied with everything.

Nice course. Only downside is that if you've never played it before, don't expect to shoot very well.

Stopped at The Preserve at Verdae on the way home to Florida. Great Course, Great Staff and an incredible layout. First time players should bring some extra golf balls. Looking forward to returning on my next trip. Five Stars on the course. I did not eat at The Grill but will the next time.

Played 18 holes on a Wednesday at 11:30. It was a 2.5 hour round as a single. Had to play through a couple of groups who asked me to play on. The course was in excellent condition. A couple of tee boxes needed some trimming around the box. The price was very good using a Golfnow Hot Deal. The regular rates are a little high.

This course is different! I figured out where the preserve came from. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were great! Everything else was preserved. You have to use your imagination and place your shots, or else have plenty of spare balls. Great experience! Staff seemed anxious to please as well. Not something I would pay regular rate for often but thanks to Golf Now, ur was well worth it!

Played here several times. The staff is always great and very helpful. Course conditions were close to perfect. Best public course around.

Hadn't played the course in almost 20 years. My neighbor who played with me had never played it. We got paired with two other guys that were very enjyable to play with. The course was in very good shape. Greens were fast with plenty of break. Pin placements added to the challenge. The weather was great as we teed off at 7:50 am to beat the humidity.
Were behind a foursome that were a bit slow for about 5 holes which made the round slow at about 4 1/2 hours, but had a great time and the value for the course with the deal we got on golfnow was great!
Will definitely play again.

Most greens were hard, elevated and fairly quick which added to the difficulty, but they were in excellent shape and putted true. Most were hard to correctly read the break. Usually broke less than it appeared. Fairways still have some growing to do but weren't bad. The course is fun and I will play it again.

Each hole was different. Used all the clubs in my bag. Greens were just sanded and could have been faster but they were in good condition.

The Preserve at Verdae is a good course. It can be tricky if you are not careful or not striking the ball well. Some narrow fairways, sloping fairways and tricky greens make for a fun day. Do not play the back tees if you are not a scratch golfer.

Pretty pleased with the course conditions, but there are far too many blind tee shots. Since this was the first round our group had played here, we were forced to lay up on at least four holes because of the blind shots. It would have been helpful to at least have a course map on the scorecard.

That said, we all agreed that next time we come back, we would score better because we know which way the fairways turn. This course has an enjoyable variety of green shapes and has some challenging par 3s. It's a good challenge, but not intimidating.

The greens were paced very well, though some were deceptively straight. Can't fault the course though, as it has been pretty cold and icy here lately.

Booked through 3rd party so I played for a good deal. From MI visiting family and was recommended here. I played in mid March so the grass was still brown from winter and no leaves on the trees. Not the courses fault. But their greens and tee boxes were a rich dark green. Well manicured and taken care of. In peak season this course would be really nice. Very scenic. Elevation changes. Water holes. Carts were all newer and electric. For sure a quality course. I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5 due to their yards being off. Their tee box yardage was +/- 20yds at times on par 3's. GPS recommended. Yardage book was off as well. Par 5's were flipped from what their real layout was. 100, 150 markers were accurate and sprinkler heads had yardage indicators as well that were accurate. Felt like it deserved a lengthy review because I'm tired of bad reviews. I'm a single digit handicapper for credibility sake.
