Great golf in the cold South
Conditions for this time of year was better than expected. Greens were smooth and fast. It was 31 degrees so there were no one else in the course but us so pace of play was not a problem.
Great December Weather
Staff was very welcoming and made me feel welcome. I was an individual and pace of play ahead of me was good, never any backup.
Great course but staff are absolutely horrible.
Overall the course was in great shape. Pace of play was moderate to slow, due to a tournament they had. The staff in the club house on the other hand was absolutely horrible. I arrived 5 minutes before my tee time and the first thing the guy in the club house said that was late. And followed that up by "have you every played golf in your life?" He then went on to insult my grandfather in the same manner. Due to this I probably won't be back, but that's just me.
Decent for the Price
I used a hot deal to play so for the price it was ok. The greens were dry but not terrible. The fairways were very dried. The layout of the ciurde is nice. The day I played there was not a lot of people playing so I finished a round in just over 2 hours. It could be a really nice course if they fixed the fairways.
Pretty good value.
Nice layout and reasonably well maintained. Too many 2somes. Merging these would help pace of play - the main weakness.
Awesome layout. A few blind tee shots. Greens were absolutely perfect.
EXCELLENT
First time playing track and will go back. Absolutely. Even for holiday weekend, pace of play was terrific. Course in immaculate condition. Will return.
The course was very tough at least for me it was. Very tough tee shots and difficult greens to read but all in all it was a great course and would recommend to anyone visiting Columbia.
Golden Hills is a great course
Course maintaince is a large priority for the owners. You can't find a better choice in the Midlands, location, value and condition.

Golden Hills was in very good condition. Greens were hard to hold for my foursome and very fast. It's an interesting layout with different challenges for you game.

Nice Course But Slow Pace
Pace of play was slow but if you aren't in a hurry it is a nice course to play.
Fantastic opportunity
After being a member for over 10 years, we recently moved away from Lexington. I can honestly say that the golfing experience here is truly enjoyable.
Course demands accuracy
Rolling hills, tree lined fairways, and undulating greens. Check your distance to greens and hazards. Very challenging. Cannot grip and rip.
