Features
The course was in great shape considering the time of year. The fairways tend to be narrow but very playable, you will need to plan your shots. The water hazards are great and you will need to pick your club carefully, watch for the wind. The staff was very friendly.
course in excellent condition!
could not find any flaws in this course. the greens were very fast and several of them were sloped
it plays a bit hard for the first time. it is a private course and the members were very friendly. you will enjoy the course.

Just do it
Fairways where generous and we'll kept, greens were cared for an roll was balanced and a little fast. Very enjoyable first time experience.
Excellent value
For $20.00 on golf now. This can not be beat. On top of that, the conditions were fantastic. Also, a very friendly staff. Our foursome traveled an hour to get here. Hope to do this trip again soon.
Great course, amenities for members only
Played 18 and every hole was as beautiful as the last. Couldn't not use the driving range before my round because I was not a member but this course was worth it
Overall a good course
I enjoy playing at Golden Hills. It's not a great course, but fun to play while not breaking the bank. The greens are in pretty good shape, slower than my home course (CCL) which is good! I'm an average golfer so some of the holes can challenge me because there isn't much room for error. For example, #12 has beat me up before due to my occasional hook that I hit. The good news is that as long as you don't get into trouble, the course isn't very long. Furthermore, many of the holes are inviting as there aren't a lot of traps making approach shots difficult like my home course. Overall, I like Golden Hills because the course is in pretty good shape, staff is pleasant, it's often wide open to play, and doesn't cost a lot. I look forward to playing again!
Cool Course
Really like the classy clubhouse here with it's iconic (in my mind anywho) silos. Some really pretty holes and very beautiful in the fall. I really like the front 9. There is a lot of out of bounds on the course (residential) and there is a sewage plant next to the 13th hole. Those are cons, but the greens are very fast and difficult. The course is in pretty good shape. Strategy in play off of many tee shots. Pace of play can be like molasses but I'd definitely recommend this course.
