Good
Its a fast paced well rounded course its close to home and even the greens were aireated which isn't never good ,but it has to be done if you want a good putting surface specially being on the ocean.I lost my lucky Headcover for my driver and the staff let me go back out and look for it and were very nice . I will play there again thanks Patriots Point for the Hospitality .

Iconic
The location is one of a kind. For the price, the course conditions were great. User friendly.
Excellent course on Charleston harbour
Booked a tee time through Golf Now. Was travelling with friends for a bachelor party. The staff and course were excellent, with really great views over the water. We rented clubs for one person and were impressed with the quality of the set they rented to us.
Good Course
The course was in excellent shape. The pace was outstanding.
Nice course
Great course, pace of play was slower than I wanted but still within 4 hours.
Patriot's Point Golf Course
It was a little windy (usually is windy on the harbour) and the white tees were pretty far back, mostly with the blue tees, made it a little long from the whites.
Great views
Patriots Point is a course for everyone. It is flat and has wide fairways. But be careful The wind off the water can play with your ball.
Good course. Crowded.
Pretty good course. Narrow fairways. Lots of water. Very firm greens with not much break. Fairly crowded for a midday round. Very nice views from the back nine.
Great views
Wide open layout. Fun but challenging course. 16, 17 and 18 along the harbor are beautiful. Course was in good shape. Greens were pretty slow.
Great course well worth the visit.
Carts on path only slows pace of play down, had I known I would of preferred to walk course
Otherwise wife and I enjoyed quality golf course
Patriots Point
The staff was incredible. Early morning rain delayed our start but the staff was very courteous in letting us hang out in the grill room and never forced us out until the weather turned. Course was in good condition given the weather. Would love to try again when the rough is thicker. Definitely a must play when in the charleston area. Great views of the harbor are a nice bonus.
Dependent on cost, good course.
It was a last minute decision to play. Thank you Golf Now. Had I paid the full visitor price I would have been a little disappointed. As it was, with a discounted price, very happy to have played. Front 9 greens were a little rough, as was the course. Would think things would be in much better condition later April and May. Pleasant staff. Front 9 not as challenging as the back. On a scale of 10 I give it a 6.5.
Not too shabby!
I have been playing this course on a regular basis since 1986. Back in those days I could go walk nine holes in the afternoon for eight dollars. So needless to say things have changed since then. This is a great course. It is wide-open pretty flat not that hard. I think anyone would enjoy this course. As it is with any course in Charleston, it is always crowded. I I envy all the Yankees from the north that get to play the uncrowded courses.
Ehhh
Not at all impressed with the course at all. Hopefully it was due to being early in the season. Greens would not hold shots at all, even short chips would not stay on. Redeeming point was the scenery... Hole 17 is staring straight into the Atlantic Ocean. Also beware of the wildlife.... It can bite!!! (gators)
Winter woes
Good greens: bumpy sloping tees: little grass on fairways: excellent bunkers.
A cold March very windy day is not the best time to play this course.
To be honest it is perhaps unfair to even start to make a review in view of the time of year.
Cart Path Only
Greens and fringe absoultely perfect...Bunkers very professional...Fairways awful....and to boot cart path only....
great scenic track, good condition, fair price
My wife and I played PP and we enjoyed the round, staff very friendly. course in good condition, greens fine, fairways too, rough easy, traps very well kept.
Number one must play public course in Charleston
The wide fairways are very forgiving but can be challenging next to marsh and water. The greens are consistently good and roll true. The last three finishing holes are second only to Kiawah's Ocean Course, with number 17 a mandatory polaroid moment.
surly staff, low quality driving range, poor upkeep
this is second time at Patriots point. both times have been less than enjoyable. It has a beautiful location, but maintenance and management just don't seem adequate. Most noticeable for us, and very unusual in our experience of south Carolina, staff simply are not friendly and helpful. Very doubtful we would play here again.
