About
The 18 semi-private holes at Pine Forest wind through the tall Summerville pines with numerous live oaks, dogwoods and a lake system thrown in for good measure. With an equal balance of straightaways, doglegs and elevation changes, this course is nicely balanced, with challenges and fun in store for golfers of all levels. Rental clubs and electric carts are available.
At 6,905 yards with a 138-slope rating, Pine Forest lives up to its name, as the course has numerous barriers of tall Summerville pines to cause problems for an errant shot. The Bob Spence design also makes use of water to add to the difficulty of some holes. It's a semi-private course, and they've named each hole, with No. 12 being known as "Little Augusta" while No. 15 is "Wastelands."

Nice course
Cart paths are not driver friendly. Had to push the cart up any/all inclines. First time playing, a lot of undulations on fairways, don't read too much into the greens. More water than expected. Overall enjoyed the round, somewhat challenging.
Pine Forest
It had rained the day before, so the course was a little mushy in quite a few places. The greens however, were in excellent shape.
Fourrr some good times
Very nice day not to hot, the pace was great I was team up with three other golfers we had a good time The fairways were in nice condition and the greens were a little fast. Can't wait to go back.

This course is well worth the $19 hotdeal price I paid. I feel like this course will make u better. Challenging but very pretty
Tough, challenging course
Course is in good condition. Tough, challenging course with long par 4s, undulating greens, and bunkers. Cart paths are very bumpy. So, drive slow or ride roughs.
Course drying out, greens and tee boxes very hard.

What a great round with all that Irma weather we had. This course was in great shape, I met 3 great guys had an awesome time.
Love this course
The first time I played this course I knew I would be back. I hear other players comment on the challenge of the architecture. This course just works for me. If you can play in control you can score well. This course demands it. Can't wait to get back for a 3rd round.
Real good course
The course was in great shape good for the money value pace of play as a single player steady waited a few times green speed average put the ball in the fairway green are accessible
A great day of golf
After having read a number of reviews my regular golf partner and I ventured up to Summerville to check it out. We were pleasantly surprised. We are both mid handicappers and found the course offered a fair but not unreasonable challenge for our level of play. The fairways and greens were very well maintained for a semi-private course. Better than many other comparable public courses in the tri-county area and the green fees were very reasonable. Well placed drives will reward as much as poor ones will punish. I would recommend buying the yardage book available in the pro shop. It will save you a few strokes. Staff was very friendly. We'll definitely be back
